I was just wondering if anyone would like to add some input for alternate formats day 1 of Mana Drain Championship for drop outs and such. If people ask for something since I am helping out at working it I can get a side tournament(s) going. So essentially what people ask for I'll attempt to run. I considered peasant magic  I know they'll be  type 4 (non tournament) going around with Josh's deck which is pretty tech. Any input would be awesome.

Sounds very promising. I am sure people are eager to test out their 1.5 builds against each other and try to establish a metagame. I probably will do that.

No age resrtiction. From my understanding the way the poker tournaments work is playing for a piece of power which entails no gambling legally because no money is being given away as prizes. As far as friday is concerned I dont think anything is going on in binghamton the two days of magic are on saturday and sunday. Except of course us playing casual magic. There is a lot of set up to be done on friday and doing stuff that day would just make things more hectic. If you really wanna do something friday I am sure you find people to draft the day before in the hotels. nothing is formally planned though.

Sorry last time I checked the price wasn't clearified yet though the prize is based on attendence if enough people are playing a piece of power could go to the winnner. Man this tourny is giving away a lot of power. I jumped the gun I think earlier theres no guaranteed prize of power but, if things got according to how they were specified theres a good chance a piece will go up. I know the cost under 20 bucks though.
