I still contend that Royal Assassin is the best picture (Alpha obviously).  There is a whole story being told in the composition.  You can just see the plan of events that are about to unfold.

I also really like the detail of library of Leng and Magical Hack.  Magical hack, if you look at closely has a lot of wierd quirks going on in it.

Like someone else mentioned, Anson Maddocks has some cool ways of incorporating the human body into his works.  Examples are Living wall, Cyclopian Tomb and Maze of Ith.

The old artwork in my opinion is better on a whole than the newer stuff.  Seems to me that the artists had a lot more creative freedom before.  The newer stuff is mory fantasy like and looks a bit too airbrushed.  However, that isn't to say that there still isnt cool art coming out.  Duplicant comes to mind.

Fallen Empires wins my vote for best art set.
