I play a Variant of FCG, but anyways i decided that i should start making the cards my own a little more. I have already decided that whenever i kill a welder with an incinerator i will mark it down on the picture, but what other creatures are cool enough to merit the mark and should i put the marks in separte places on the art? It's kinda like how a pilot puts the flags of the other pilots he downs on his plane. So what other creatures merit an incineration with flying colors?

I don't know about you, but I'll borrow a quote from Brian Phelon here:
"If someone ate my Mox with a Shaman and then took it out and wrote on it, I'd probably punch them in the face."
The same applies here.
Besides that, playing against someone with all altered cards makes the games more fun and light. I guess it could be distracting and give you an advantage versus some people too.
I'm sure there is something cool that can be done with Food Chain, seeing it has such lame art. Maybe you can find some picture of a tiger eating a gutted antelope and stick it in the sleeve (demonstrating the real live "food chain"). Or something.
Creatures that are Mark-Worthy are ones you will see and kill often, while being reasonably small (killable). These include:
Ophidian Exalted Angel (maybe) Old Man of the Sea (maybe) Gorilla Shaman (maybe)

I've always wanted a BB Mana Vault, so I got one. It's got some strange wording, like it's 4th Ed. or something....
Some cards look better with doodles (Tog). Having mutiple people sign it makes it a one of a kind.

I then retired them when they hit 10. 1 of them was retired after 1 game (yawg will). Anyways, anybody knows Sol Ring is one of the best cards to draw on. My friend Mat has like 10 of them.

My Grow-A-Thopt deck has one Ornithopter in the whole deck, and the deck is geared to kill the opponent with that Ornithopter. It has 15 kills so far. Lightning Coils has 2, Door to Nothingness has 2, and the Darksteel Reactor has 4 kills.
People balk at the deck for having one Ornithopter and no Cranial Plating (I use Energy Chambers), but everyone in the local area has been killed by it. Way cool.
Marking on cards is cool.

I have an arc-slogger that pulled me out of a baaad game, so I nicknamed him "The Einherjer" and I made a little arrow pointing at the ground he's walking on in the picture and above the arrow I wrote "Valhalla"
I like it better than Mr. Sloggs. I used to play with an inferno that said, "God dammit, I told you not to play with matches!" only in caps.

Whenever I do a limited event I like to write words like Necrophiliac and Clown Shoes on them. I usually try to set it up so I can make obscene sentences, one time laying out Necrophiliacs ate my Hamster in Clown Shoes. Its good to use the land for the conjunctions.

I wish I had a scanner.
I drew on a bunch of Myr Enforcers (I even had a foil set of these at one point) to make 'em look like mobsters with tommyguns and all that such.
I also have a few Artifact Lands with some dinosaurs stomping around on 'em, but they're not quite as cool as the Enforcers.
I thought they came out really nice.

Scans or photos would be cool. I remember a thread ages ago with some doodled on cards.
I spent some time a while ago coloring around everything but the required-to-be-present parts (mana cost, p/t, picture, rules text, etc.) of cards with a really thin black pen (I got the idea from seeing it on some website somewhere). I did a couple of cards (a Manta Riders and something else, but I forget what it was), but gave them away to friends. Every now and then I see them floating around. One local guy did some duresses which looked really good. He played them in his deck and people were surprised. I have to do that again sometime...

Hi_Val did a job on someone's FoF. I forgets who it was though, but oh man, it was amazing. You'd never know it was a FoF, so I guess you can't use it in tourny play.

I'm quite partial to marking my Kird Apes and Gorilla Shamans. My faves are the ones I've completely redone to be characters from "the Matrix". I'll post a couple later in life

If you wanna see some awesome doodling on cards check out Brassman's binder of all Brassman. It just shows the diveristy of doodles people put on cards. I have some hot information dealers though thats really a type 1 choice but, they are signed and altered by the great time traveler himself Jacob Orlove.

I absolutely can't stand the new Brainstorm picture and, since there is no foil version of the Ice Age picture, I draw all over my Brainstorms. I think I have something like five playsets of modifieds now.

Andystok just killed me with coalition victory and marked it down on it. Yeah lets not get into it, but it involves coalition victory sliver queen and dragon.dec
Edit. I have a gush that i turned into a nuke, i just need to find it. As a side note I turned a bunch of the Apocalypse lands into Housing property, i.e. Putting up "for Sale" signs, and putting the prices at the bottom of the text, with the coastline being the highest one at 400k and i think the caves were 25k.

Yes, those Titans are like the best things I've ever done (Though the porn scrolls are high up there!). If the people that I modified stuff for would scan it (Looking at you, brassman and Apollyon!) you could see the rest of what I've done.
Needless to say, I really enjoy drawing on cards. If you are interested in having some Hi-Val modded cards, drop me a PM and I'd be happy to work something out! Check out the link in my sig for examples.
