You are picking first and you have these 8 cards in front of you...which do you pick?

Discuss!

edit:  cards were picked at random from my current type 4 deck.

Masticore, as it is a permanent Plague Wind and if it's removed it still resets the board.

Masticore, but I would def. take Kuro, Pitlord over it if I had something like Tower of Eons.

Kuro doesn't even fly. Masticore by a mile.

Masticore, unless Kodama does something really fucking good that I don't know about.

Kodama gives creatures -1/-1 at the cost of paying life...which is pretty good for killing Darksteel Colossus...but the 'Core is just SO good its hard to pass up.

Kodama of the North Tree: {2GGG} |Legendary Creature -- Spirit| 6/4. Trample. Kodama of the North Tree can't be the target of spells or abilities.

It's pretty terrible compared to some of the other options.

By the way, I think these are great. I'd like to see some less lopsided, though.

Yeah, more good cards would be nice. Let's discuss the tough decisions.

I am basically trying to sim what some draft pools might be like....thus some are going to be tough, some really easy....think this is something worth continuing?  I was thinking of doing one each day.

It's either Masticore or Sunscape Battlemage.  Man that's a tough one.

Here's the tough question: which card is going to go last!?

I'd guess Rebound or Kodama

Probably Kodama, but I have actually seen Sunscape Battlemage go last pick, which is criminal.

Masticore is first unless it's late in the draft and you have a few already.  If you already have Vamp Dragon and Overseer, I'd take the Disk.

Also, if you're late in the draft and you've neglected to pick up (m)any Disenchant effects, Disk rises in value a lot.

If you have Glarecaster, there is no decision to be made.
