This event will be run by dci reporter. I picked up a copy of the software on saturday and everything is good to go on november 7th. Also in addition, we are going to raffle off a revised dual land to 1 person who didn't make top 8 but stayed until the final round. It will be the winner's choice of dual. I know it isn't much but I suppose it was worth mentioning A level 1 dci judge has been found to judge the event, for anyone who is concerned about rule enforcement.

I would just like to update the thread with 1 thing. Tournament is 2 weeks away and this past weekend I picked up a Beta mox ruby, condition is poor but it is still beta I'm going to be adding this to the prize list meaning that now first place has the choice to take the 300 cash or the beta ruby. Turnout for this event is looking very good and hope to see everyone there.

Congrats to Alex on the high finish. We played a meaningless round 5 while waiting for the T8, and I got to hear his story. He's a T1 newb, who proves again that good players in other formats can do really well...so long as they play an adapted deck like GOBBOS!
I had a really good time, and the event was run very well. Quick rounds, sound judging, and 1.00 pizza rock da body.
Incidentally, I want to apologize to my opponents for the day. The only reason I was in the T8, while playing that pile (easy, Rich, it wasn't your build), is that I topdecked Platinum Angel for the win three rounds in a row.
