The way our casual multiplayer group plays is that your deck has to conform to one of the DCI sanctioned formats, except that Unglued and Portal are "legal" for Type 1 and 1.5. There is no sideboarding, but you need to have a wishboard if you plan to use one.

I was thinking of just dropping Mana Drains, Strip Mine and Sol Ring and going with the "1.5" +3 Fact or Fiction, and +3 Chrome Mox. Which version would be better? Also, is there anything better than War Tax for stopping creatures?  Propaganda doesn't cut it, either.

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?
