Infected Wounds
3BB
Enchantment
Damage isn't removed from creatures at end of turn.

So now everything has a very limited lifespan. Combat becomes extremely deadly, and white's damage prevention beomes actually useful - possibly even extremely useful.

This is essentially the same as Eternal Suffering, already in the master list.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

I've seen this idea many times, and with good reason - it's a kick ass idea. I would have been surprised if we didn't already have something like this in the master list. I think counters are the way to go to prevent memory issues.

"Didn't that creature take two damage three turns ago?"
"I don't remember."

I think the card itself doesn't need to bother with counters. People will think to use them on their own, just like with Upwelling.

If this is like Eternal Suffering, it occurs to me that Eternal Suffering is probably badly undercosted...or my card is overcosted. Regardless, I have the better card name.   Smile

WHA!?  Eternal Suffering has a far better name!

Anywho, this is practically Eternal Suffering without counter using reminder text, but Eternal Suffering also prevented regeneration as well, so that is cooler.

I don't think that there is enough of a difference to go on, but if you do, this is an effect that shouldn't be costed too high, because there isn't anything that combos with this outside of Pestilence...

I think Eternal Suffering is the better of the two cards. Matt, your card doesn't deal with indestructability that well, because damage will just keep piling on and players will be forced to keep track of something that is probably not going to matter.

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?

When I first read it I thought: 'Cool! Magic becomes Battletech'

Then I thought: 'Hang on, I already posted 'Cool! Magic becomes Battletech' on these boards before.'Éternal suffering' had the memory issues down.
