No credit to me, this is Stolen's card. He's just got too many threads open, and I'd really like to see this card discussed.

3WW
~Name~
Sorcery
Destroy all creatures with power 3 or greater, then return to play all creatures with power 2 or less.

It's a shame Retribution of the Meek is already used, as that'd be perfect.

Comments?

Current Wording:

3WW
Requital of the Weak
Sorcery
Destroy all creatures with power 3 or greater, then each player puts into play all creatures in his or her graveyard with power 2 or less.

Changes:
Wording - Jacob and Ephraim
Name - Ephraim

"return to play" doesn't work. You need to specify where the creatures are coming from.

One of the interesting things about this card is that if a creature is enchanted or equipped with a power booster, such that it has a power of 3 before this goes off and a power of 2 normally, it gets killed and immediately resurrected, which is cool.

I'm actually very glad you did this, because I would like to see this discussed.  We give up any rights to these when we post them anyway, and creator names aren't so much as mentioned in the master list, so don't feel like you're stealing anything from me.

That said, I don't have much to comment on this.  You priced it well, and I like the mechanic and flavor ( Wink ).

I like this card. I’m not sure exactly how powerful it is, but I’m fairly sure its not broken and its and interesting effect.

This card still needs a name, and I honestly cannot think of anything appropriate.

You could go, "Requital of the Weak" which strongly evokes the feeling of "Retribution of the Meek." Other possibilities: "Humility's Reward" or "Tenor of Humility." (Tenor, by the way, is not just a singing range. From dictionary.com: "The course of thought or argument running through something written or spoken.")

Requital of the Weak isn't bad. I'll use that for now. Anyone else have an idea?

What about flavor text? The rules text on this isn't particularly large, so there's room for something nice. Ideally something vaguely religous sounding would be best I'd imagine.

Bump. I found this on the second page. Let's not forget about it.

This card is too cool to just rot away.  Start the clock, man!  Or just add it.

Thanks for keeping this bumped. Computer downtime + excessive classwork have kept me off the drain recently. That said, 24 hour clock time.

After looking through my mailbox, it seems that clicking on a PM button by a person's post only sticks stuff in my Outbox, rather than my sent box. Am I the only one with this problem? I'll try again.

That's because Matt doesn't read all those PMs until he's ready to add a bunch of cards. Once a PM is read, it moves to your sent box.
