I was a big fan of King Cheetah in my early days. Mostly because cheetahs are awesome. There are numerous parallels between them and ninjas.

About Library of Alexandria...
When I traded to get one 10 years ago, it was because it was an Aribian Nights land that wasn't a desert. It wasn't until I got an openning hand with LoA and Sol Ring that I realized how truly powerful this card was.
But more to the point, the Library looked OLD even though the card was still very new. Sadly, it got stolen a year later.
Back to the point, when my buddy Adam bought me one last year, I had the same fascination with the card all over again. It just looks so ancient!

Nobody said Noble Panther???
I would have to say that my favorite MTG cards are based on my childhood memories of when i was like 10 years old when revised was first printed... Shivan Dragon, Birds of Paradise, Wheel of fortune...
My favorite card now... Ancestral... (though it can become my least favorite card when my opponent plays there own or misdirects mine)... That being said I will go for LoA.

My favorite cards are Lord of the Pit, Pox, Contract from Below, and Senigir Vampire. When my daughter first saw Sengir Vampire (beta) in my binder, she said it was a picture of her daddy. To this day she remembers that, she is five now, and it touches me deeply to be associated with such a wicked creature by my progeny.

Tendrils of Agony, for single-handedly making Combo good rather than not bad. If you're not playing Tendrils, you're not playing Combo.
Demonic Consultation and Pox for being the very embodiment of the color black.
Cursed Scroll for being enormously interesting.

[card]Survival of the Fittest[/card] - I love the "toolbox" effect. [card]Sylvan Library[/card] - Drawing what you want is always fun. [card]Brainstorm[/card] - See above.
I guess I'm just a fan of things in Magic being less random.

(dragons and belchers) Oh, and my fav. card of all time must be Dark Ritual just because its black, awesome and not restricted. Second best is Library of Alexandria because it has a historical background in real life and magic. Oh, and its pretty good too.

First deck I ever made out of my Revised starter pack was a black deck with Ritual Scathe Zombies or Plague Rats. Nowadays they are a little more broken, and still my favorite card.

Sengir Vampire and Library of Alexandria. The most vicious and elegant (looking and behaviour) card in the game.

Spiritmonger! Great name, stats, and the story behind its creation is cool too. It's also in my favorite color combination.

In more casual settings: [card]Timetwister[/card]. Like the spell name implies, it just warps your perception of the duration of the current game. Regrowth makes the card even more time-warpish.
Also, the illustration is the epitome of the dark comic book-style renderings that were the flavored Alpha. Tedin's remake is poor by comparison (sorry Windfall). It's the perfect card in design and feel.
Props to [card]Old Man of the Sea[/card], another gem of balance and design.

Wow, I can't even decide what my favorite non-creature artifact is, let alone favorite card of all time.
If I have to pick, I'll say Serra's Sanctum and just agonize over it for days.

Words of wind, just because it's fun to win on turn 3-4 with your oponent having no permanents while you have your entire deck in play.
Seedborn muse, because she's just so busted with anything with a tap ability.
Pentavus, for making goblin welder fun.
