A good crowd of almost fifty participants showed up. They were gunning for the Vintage Adepts and i heard a a few players say how nsweet it was to beat them in the Swiss. As a group the Vinat5ge Adepts did not fare well this outing playing rogue constructions or just not being ojn their game. The top eight had some of the best of Toeonto's new breed of Type 1 players with a copuple of old timers.

The top 8 was:

Glen Miller (u/g madness) vs Shawn Stewart (stax)
Ian Smith (stax) vs Rob? (Sui Black!)
Razvan (drain slaver) vs Steve Wolfman (oath)
SlowdownTubby  (3c tog) vs Duncan MacGregor (Oath)

The lists can be found here...

With great prize structures now happening in Toronto the level of play is rapidly improving. Seems I will have to play my A deck at the upcoming event in January.

Rarely has Flatulence been turned to advantage, as with a Frenchman referred to as "Le Petomane," who became affluent as an effluent performer who played tunes with the gas from his rectum on the Moulin Rouge stage.

Thanks for posting the results!

Is Suicide a regular winner up there? :(

No. Rob is a very skilled player and metagamed like mad. Toronto, sadly, is the home of a lot of hate decks, and Suicide eats through them. There were close to 60 people actually.

Top 4 was

Ian Smith vs. Shawn Stewart (both stax)
Me vs. Marc (3cTog)

Top 2 was

Shawn Stewart vs. Me

I lost. Sad 3rd game, one turn away... and Shawn gets Ancestral. Very Happy

There was another Lotus tourney, the week before, in Ottawa, where Rich Mattiuzzo (shockwave) manage to beat Ian Smith (yes, the same Ian Smith) for it. 60 people showed up there as well.

401 will have a Beta Twister tourney on the 19th, and more Mox tourneys in the new year.

It's sweet.
