I like Aesthir Scout. It reminds me of Advance Scout. It's better, I think, but not strictly better. Angelic Soul could have the ability "Sacrifice Angelic Soul: Return to play target creature card that was put into your graveyard from play this turn."

Facetious Myr!

I even knew that word, but I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

I definitely don't like the idea of a facetious myr. Myr seem mostly emotionless, but even if they do have some emotions, "facetious" doesn't seem like it ought to be one of them. Is it critical that the name contain each vowel only once? Otherwise, you could go with Facetious Gypsy, which gives you the Y I'm sure you're looking for. If it can only contain the vowels once, even Spy might be better than Myr.

Myr was just the first idea that popped into my head. "Spy" is a more than adequate replacement, although the ideal would be some word with no vowels at all.

It's a cool mechanic, but both [card]Plagiarize[/card] and [card]Obstinate Familiar[/card] keep it well away from White.

Would "Sacrifice {card}: Remove target blocking creature with flying from the game. Use this ability only if {this} is attacking and unblocked" be any good? It's quite narrow, but otherwise it's way too good as a removal card if it can just fly over.

Really, the preventing another person from drawing hasn't really been claimed by a color, because only very few cards can actually prevent a person from drawing a card. It would also go along with white's rule making abilities, and it could be an interesting mechanic for white to possess, because at this time white has virtually no disruption. I really don't think there is enough evidence to say that white can't have that sort of ability (plus, it's really cool).

I'm not really keen on the prevention of card drawing, if only because it doesn't seem like something that an "Angelic Soul" would do. It also occurs to me, J||<3, that Aesthir Scout probably should be a bird soldier.

How about Akroma's Blessing's effect as Angelic Soul's sacrifice ability? Other ideas if you want something non-new would be 'remove target attacker', 'tap all creatures', or even 'Put <some quantity of X/X creatures with {ability X}> into play. Sac them at eot'.

I second Nazdakka's suggestion.  That would make Angelic Soul a bigger Benevolent Bodyguard, but I think that would be appropriate here.

Can the spy be activated in response to a spell cast by an opponent? if yes, then I think its a bit undercosted.

Yes you can respond to it, but you don't get to draw a card. It specifically reads 'whenever an opponent plays a card with that name blah blah'...

I specifically like the spy, although it's ability looks great at first glance if you think about it it isn't to good...it can't hit instants, it has to stay tapped to work and if it does work the 'draw a card clause' isn't going to turn around a close game...Still I like it...
