To the posters: CABAL FREAKIN' THERAPY! You can clamp your ornithopters without having a single mana to spare while still kicking the crap out of your opponents hand, PLUS it's 2 spells to your spell count. This deck I believe can't survive without it, it's that crucial. If your results are different than mine, I'll be damned, but I'll stand behind Cabal Therapy all the way.

Agreed, which is a strong case for the inclusion of Ornithopter in the deck.

I still think Duress is better in Game 1, but Therapy definitely needs to be in the Sideboard.

Ok, Don't have time to post much here, but my Kobolds just got a shot in the arm from Ravinca:

Cloudstone Curio - 3
Artifact
Whenever a nonartifact permanent comes into play under your control, you may return another permanent you control that shares a permanent type with it to its owner's hand.
Rare

I'm running the 12 kobold, 4 ESG version (ie no other creatures). And have cut 2 Skullclamp for this guy. (Still have 2 in the deck)

The application is obvious: With a Curio in play play a Glimpse, play Kobold 1 -> Draw a card , play Kobold 2 -> draw a card -> return Kobold 1 to hand. Repeat until you have as much of your deck as you want in your hand. Do stuff. Shuffle up.

Keeping the 2 Clamps gives me an out if it doesn't come together but resolving this on turn 1 with Glimpse & 2 kobolds is game.

*chuckles*  You beat me to it with that observation.  But yes, I'd noticed that card as well and realized that you could probably more effectively set up a Storm count and card drawing engine between the interaction of Glimpse/Kobolds/Curio then you could with the Skullclamp drawing you cards and just playing the Kobolds you draw.  Of course, the Curio doesn't work very well with Ornithopter (because Ornithopter won't trigger the Curio), so that may be a card to cut if it is being run.  But, yes, the addition of Cloudstone Curio does seem like it might be good for the deck.  If I can get some time (probably not since I have the PR this weekend), I'll see about putting together a list to try and work on this card.

That especially comes in handy with Quirion Dryad versions of the deck.

This card is ugly.  You can do sick tricks with it using lands, too.  Fastbond + 2 Lands ='s fun stuff.  Especially if 1 is an Academy!

Yep, it is one of the 'to-watch'cards from ravnica.
curio, kobold kobold brainfreeze would be enough to win right there without a glimpse.
You don't even have to use a fastbond to abuse manaloops, just use cloud of faeries and you are done.
Soul Warden might be usefull aswell

Has anyone teched on a Cloudstone Curio decklist?

I've been very unsatisfied with KoboldClamp, a BG list. So, anyway, I want to try a curio version of the deck. How should it look like? I'm thinking UG instead of BG. Blue gives me the bllue powercards, Tinker (Memory Jar). We will miss the rituals and tutors, however the deck will be more of an Aluren type of deck, so much mana isn't really needed in the same way. BrainFreeze obv replaces Tendrils, I'm thinking of playing something like ~3 Brainfreeze, since you don't actually need Glimpse to combo out. Glimpse I think is very good in this deck, so I think G should stay before B (if we play U, that is...). Maybe Living Wish could make it in this deck.
