Hah, I be you thought I was going to ask about bluffing or something. Chances are, you were as unaware as I was that [card]Head Games[/card] is an actual card, one of the millions of forgotten Onslaught crap rares. And a card I'm going to ask about, too.

Quote
Target opponent puts the cards from his or her hand on top of his or her library. Search that players library for that many cards. The player puts those cards into his or her hand, then shuffles his or her library.

If my opponent casts Head Games at me, and I put my hand on my library, can I rearrange my library before showing it to him? I don't want him to be able to to correllate the tells I was giving off with the contents of my hand (I don't want him to, for example, be able to say "oh he taps his feet when he's bluffing a counter" or something).

I honestly belive that the card says to do what it says. Put hand on top of library (in probably whatever order you want) and then your opponent looks through your deck and gives you cards, etc.

You don't get to randomly decide to randomize your deck midgame, yes?

For example, you get Head Gamed with 2 cards in your hand, Akroma and Force of Will.  Pwned.  You now get Blessing and...Akroma again. (obviously).

Plus, as a side note, your bluff was called if Head Games resolves...

No.  Unless an instruction tells you to shuffle your library, and only when that instruction tells you to, you may not shuffle your library.  To do so at any other time could be, at a minimum, a Procedural Error.

You must follow the instructions of the card as stated.  In this case, putting the cards from your hand on top of your library, and then the player of the Head Games performs a search for that many cards (which become your new hand).  Then, after all this, you shuffle your library.

But until that point, you cannot affect the order of your library in any way, shape or form.

Are there any rules on how I have to show him my deck? For instance, could I show him the top card, then the bottom, then the second from top, then second from bottom, and so on - or some other pattern intended to confuse him, as long as I show the whole thing and don't actually change the order?

As Head Games instructs, the player is searching the deck for a set number of cards; this is not a reveal effect.  So, unless you could provide me a decent reason (which this is not) for not allowing your opponent to perform the search himself, I would probably not allow this process to take place.
