The topic is: 'Should stores run proxy tournaments?'... I think that many stores would be dead-set against it but that doesn't mean they're not being short-sighted.

Anyway, I would like to see what themanadrain users have to say about this...

If the opinions of the people on this board will affect whether or not you or someone else is going to run a proxy tournament, you might as well start preparing for it.

I can't think of an argument against proxy tournaments that is valid in today's Vintage world. They do so many good things for the format, there really isn't any legitimate debate about it.

Didn't this get settled like 3 years ago?

The short answer to your question is "yes." The long answer is: use the search function to dig up old threads on this topic, or start a thread with actual content, not just "please answer this question for me."
