There is going to be a Type I tournament on May 28th in Livonia Michigan at RIW Hobbies Saturday May 28th.

The event will be 10 Proxy, and it will be $10 to play.  First Prize will be an Unlimited Timetwister and additional prizes will be determined based upon attendance.

Deck registration will start at 2:00 PM, which means that the tournament should get underway around 3:00 in the afternoon.  RIW is located at Five Mile Road and Middlebelt in Livonia, if anybody needs addition directions please feel free to PM me through the Manadrain.com.

I hope to see some of you guys at the tournament, good luck!

Cheers,
Brian

Despite the fact that Brian cannot play, I'll be sure to represent for us =).  Anyone in the area that can make the trip should really come out for this.  This is only the beginning of what we hope to be a successful stream of T1 tournaments in SE Michigan.

There is a shortage of good Type 1 where we are, and I'm sure many of you are anxious to have better competition and better prizes.  If all goes well, RIW will hold future T1 events for better pieces of power in the future, though playing for a Twister is not a bad place to start off.  We need you all to come and play to make this happen!

Hope to see anyone and everyone.

Since I'm working, I won't be able to play... Until after the tournament when we bust out the Type four stack!  I hope to see all of you Michigan guys here, because as long as we get good attendance for these things we will be doing more power/ proxy events over the summer.

I guess I have to "let all of my adoring fans know that I will indeed be there."  I was planning on surprising everyone with my appearance, but it's not much of a surpise any more.  Yes, I'll be signing autographs, so bring your Death Wishes, Dark Rituals, or Mind's Desires for me to sign,  Wink

I'm looking forward to some mad T4 action after I win the tournament (or go 0-2 drop, there will be no in between, I can just sense it).  It's going to be savage, yo.

I have just received confirmation that I will indeed be ditching out early from work to play at this tournament.

See some of you in the top 8.

And, as a sidenote, if I win this twister, I am going to talk Hi-Val into modifying it since I already have one.

Then the challenge is issued. My brother and I might not win, but we will definitely spill alot of blood on the way to top 8. Victims Beware!!!

This is going to be a total cult tournament. One to remember til Kzoo. I wanna see people sporting elvis paraphenalia and drinking whiskey in the parking lot.

I am definitely drawing elvis on the twister if I win it.

The challenge is accepted.  Heads will roll, and the maimed, wounded, injured, et cetera will be sacrificed at the alter of the Vintage Avant-Garde to our dark gods.  This is going to be a fun one, I can already tell.  Almost everyone from the Michigan Metagame has PMed me and said that they will in fact be there, and anyone who hasn't yet should definately foresake jobs, girlfriends, family obligations, et cetera and come!  Serious bragging rights are on the line here, at least until Kzoo.
Let the battle for Michigan begin.

Also, has anybody heard from the Canadians??  Are they comming??

I am hellbent for those bragging rights, so is JDizzle... and you guys definitely dont want to let me win and defile that beautiful twister. This would be the perfect opportunity for the canadians to try and take back a little bit of that time walk I so brutally took from them. And my brother will be playing that very time walk, to take extra turns and attack with strange little men.

This is more than a tournament. This is a celebration of evil.

I am looking forward to taking both of you out. Team Charlie Don't Surf needs another Twister. No longer will Elvis be drawn on it. Now it will bear the face of our beloved Charlie Manson.

I am going to be in my usual hardcore fashion... no sleep and pumped full of caffiene. See you in Six.

For what it is worth, there were two of three members of team charlie dont surf in the top 8, but in the end brian won his twister back. Congratulations.

I would like to congratulate Jason Hall who worked so hard, has come so far, took me out in the top 8, and went on to take second with GobVantage. Good Job, those were some great games.

Brian should be announcing a Sapphire Tourney soon for the 26th... lets see if we can get some numbers for it.
