Okay I know this is a bit premature, but how would this interact with a Psychatog?
Lets say I attack with a lethal berserked 'Tog and the opponent plays Curtain of Light, would I simply trample through for the kill? I believe this is correct as there is no P/T to absorb any of the damage.
Note: I disclaim any answer until I actually see the Oracle wording of the card from WotC. It's possible the spoiler wording is goofed up due to translation/miscommunication/etc.Trample modifies how damage is assigned, and allows the attacking creature to assign first damage to the creature blocking it and then to the defending player. Damage assigned to the blocking creature must be lethal damage, which is defined as the creature's toughness less any damage already dealt to the creature. Whatever is left to assign may then be assigned to the defending player.
In any situation where the blocking creature is no longer in play, or somehow has lethal damage already assigned to it (for example, with Indestructible creatures), then the attacking creature would be able to assign all of its damage to the defending player. For example, if a 2/2 blocked a Darksteel Colossus and was Shocked before damage was assigned, the Colossus could assign all its damage to the defending player.
Therefore, based on this wording, the berzerk 'Tog would still gut the defending player. The 'Tog would still be able to assign damage to the defending player.
Edit: here is the entry from the SoK FAQ if you are interested...

Curtain of Light

{W}
Instant
Target attacking unblocked creature becomes blocked.
Draw a card.
* An attacking unblocked creature exists from the time the defending
player chooses not to block that creature until the combat phase ends.
Curtain of Light doesn't have any legal targets outside of the combat
phase.
* Curtain of Light does trigger bushido abilities.
* Curtain of Light isn't particularly effective against creatures with
trample. Since the creature with trample has no blocker to assign
damage to, all the damage will be assigned to the defending player.
