Well After starting late waiting for people to get here that were stuck in traffic(Not their faults...) we ended up with 50 entries with 6 rounds of swiss. After the six rounds of swiss it took a total of 13 points and great tie breakers to make it(sorry Rob). Our top eight was round out with 1 Meandeck Gifts,1 SSB,1 Fish,1 R/G beats,2 Workshop decks,1 Control Slaverand 1 welder aggro.
After Swiss the seeds went soemthing like this...........

1st Matt McNally
2nd Rich Meyst
3rd Brass Man(Andy Probasco)
4th Kyle Leith(Whater Works)
5th Mike Lydon(Meddling Mage)
6th John Longo
7th Outlaw
8th Josh Vitullo

Will Come Back With Further Results as they come..........

Hatch,
Besides the fact they were late, you ran a great tournament. I had lots of fun except in 2nd and 3rd rounds, but we won't blame that on you.

Am I correct to assume that the reason this page hasn't been updated is because Outlaw and Longo are still shuffling for game three?  :\

EDIT:  For those of you unaware, the top eight started between 6 and 7pm.  I left at 10:30 and Longo had just finished game one of his semifinals match.

I lost to Longo with an amazing fish hand, but I was blue screwed to bounce a hard casted titan..  Game 2 an opening island was stripped, stifled then rebed.  I always get really dumb top 8 games that are never really eventful.

Longo/Mcnally took home moxes... I finished 4th with meandeck gifts running lim duls vault (similar to the gencon list)... I won game 1 vs. mcnally...

and game 2 went something like this:

Me: Merchant scroll for ancestral (mcnally no hand)
Mcnally: topdeck ancestral ---> Draws (Mystical, Duress, Time walk)
Mcnally: Upkeep (Mystical for Yawgs willl)... I never get another turn...

Game 3: He just gets an amazing hand, and he plays it perfectly...

Congrats to my good friend John Longo... Who takes the deck that I hand him 5 minutes before the tournement (without ever playing/goldfishing it before), and winning a mox... Congrats to mcnally for winning his first peace of power, and saying "turn1 masterbation" several times in the process... And congrats to me for having 2 decks in the top 3...

I feel bad for outlaw because he got unlucky in the longo match, especially because he really really needed the money more then anyone there.

However, I am sure he had a great birthday overall, and was very cool and gracious overall... Oh and btw he 2-0'ed yokamoto.

Yea, Yea, Yea...

Rub it in...

I think you were the only one rooting for me...

Even my ride, Brassman, was rooting for Outlaw...

What a horrible weekend...

I couldn't get a ride to see System of a Down...

And I lose my feature match to Outlaw which knocks me out of contension for top 8...

I will have my revenge...

Yeah, sorry about the delay. Myself, Demonic Attorney (Demonic Attorney) and Jeff Anand (Samite Healer) got caught in traffic of epic porportions on 90 West. The traffic ground to a halt, people got out of their cars and the jam continued as far as the eye could see. When it became clear that this was not going to be remedied anytime soon I managed to make it to the nearest exit and took 20 West the rest of the way. Unfortunately we arrived late and recieved match losses. Nevertheless I managed to pilot Workshop Aggro to the top 8 and then promptly lost to Kyle in the top 8. Unfortunately once I hit the top tables it was all horrendous matchups, I drew one round with Control Slaver hoping to not see Control Slaver again only to be paired vs. Control Slaver again. I managed to pull out a match vs. CS through some busted draws and then lost to Kyle playing meandeck gifts.

Yeah well I wonder why Brassman was rootin for me?  Perhaps because hes a teammate?!?! Rawr, I owned you so much that you even broke an iced tea bottle in dunkin donuts and of course they look at me cause of the skin color.  Totally pawned that jazz off onto you cause of my ridiculous charisma.  Obviously we proved who the sexier magic player was between Outlaw and yokomoto!!!

Why do you say that?

We drew at syracuse power 9 tourney about 7 MONTHS ago in round 6 of a 7 round event... the draw was unintentional time ran out in game 3 (and I played not to lose which was clearly better then losing???)... We both won are next round and we both finished 9th/10th because of tiebreakers... He is still bitter I guess? well actually I dont guess because its very odvious lol.

Going X-1-1 and not making top 8 SUCKS...anyways congrats to John and Matt (who could be the best topdecker I've ever seen haha) and to teammates Outlaw and BrassMan for making T4 and T8.  And thanks to Hatch for running another awesome tourney and for the free cake!!

Travis, Kyle gets on my nerves also and I agree that he makes himself out to be a better player then he is, but bringing back shit form 7 months ago is just retarded.

hatcher you are ridiculously slow at putting lists up.  I know you didn't want to post them before waterbury, but are you really that worried that people will know your decklist.  Are you trying to hide it for the next beanie exchange?
