Since I can't post this is the Magic Community Forums. I figured posting it here is the next best place. More people read this section anyway. So here we go...

If you are on Magic Online you may have recieved and email today from...

magiconlinesurvey1@hotmail.com

In this email he sends a survey about getting a new avatar on MODO. This is a scam I suggest not replying to this email seeing as how anything important would be said on MODO. Here is a copy of the email I recieved today ....

Get a free new Avatar for Magic Online by answering a few questions.
It will be a new Avatar that will use the Vanguard option and should
bring some balance to the game. We look forward to the next line of Vanguard
events and we hope to see you there. Be sure to include all information
so that your email can be processed and you can receive your Avatar within
3-4 days.

Simply "reply" to this email and answer each question by putting a "Y"
for
Yes or a "N" for No after each question. if all information is not
included
it
may delay your Avatar.

>
1. Do you think you will play in Vanguard events in the future?
>
2. Have you had any trouble with our online Moderators(adepts)?
>
3. Have you had any trouble buying from the Magic Online store?
>
4. Would you play in vanguard events if they were free?

Be sure to include your contact information below.

Thank you for your input. Your Avatar should be sent 3-4 days after
this email has been processed.

I know most people would never give out their password or anything to MODO, but you never know. This is just a warning about it in case anybody didn't know yet.

Thanks for your time,

JDizzle is an awful driver. See Below...Smile

"JDizzle" - Finally, we get along on our merry way.  Somewhere after that, Chad called me to complain about my driving…from 200 miles away.  His call made me dig for the phone, because finding it myself was going to be far more exciting than letting Reb do it for me, which caused the car to swerve a bit.  In retrospect, I guess Chad was right.  At that exact moment he called, my driving was, in fact, awful.  I really hate it when he’s right.

Yeah, pretty much ANYTHING that asks you to type your password in a non-protected field is going to be fake.

Pretty much any email that asks for personal information directly or with a link is going to be fake. If you're worried by something (these emails often claim that your account is going to be locked), go to the website without clicking on their link (via a bookmark, or just manually entering the URL), and see what's up.

Oh, and I hope you all know to never open attachments.

May my soul be humble and forgiving to all.
