It's a pretty random thought, but I've heard a lot of the Vintage players in my area getting back into Dragon combo decks. Is there a chance that such decks will start using this as a new, uncounterable win condition for the deck?

Duskmantle, House of Shadow
Card Type: Land
Tap: Add 1 to your mana pool.
UB, Tap: Target player puts the top card of his or her library into his or her graveyard.

Or is the deck too tight as it is to risk using a win condition that also requires a land drop for the turn?

First of all, if they've combo'd off then counters are no longer an issue--otherwise they would have countered the animate.

Next, you have to draw and cast this before the combo. With Bazaar, you can run one single creature for your kill without worrying about having to draw it.

Finally, Dragon's manabase is terrible enough without lands that tap for colorless mana.
