I've recently moved up from Socal for college. There seems to not be much in the way of Announcements in the tourney forum. Can any of you NorCal native's clue me in as to where the information can be found, who to contact, or when/where regularly scheduled stuff is.

There was a series of power events in the Bay Area, but if you're north of that, tournaments are going to be pretty small.

Im in santa cruz, I knew about the bay area P9 series but was under the impression it was over. I figured most of the play is in San Francisco.

Well I think most people consider much of the state north of santa barbara to actually be norcal...id say more like Monterey North up the coast....Santa Cruz is definatly norcal though..

Much of the stuff is in the bay area...from SuperStars in Cupertino, Whos On 1st in Dublin, Eudemonia in Berkely...then Adventures in Comics and Games in Sacramento has a Monthly T1 as well...

Thx Lunar.

Though the geographical "boundary" line between Norcal and Socal may be unsure, there is one scientifically proven method for determining your location. Listen to any conversation, if you can hear the word "hella" you're in Norcal.

The boundary line is Santa Barbara.  Anything north and you're in NorCal.

That's why there *has* to be a Central Valley.  Bakersfield?  Fresno?  They're the innocent civilians caught in the crossfire between LA and the Bay Area.  They're nonpartisan.

This isnt switzerland, this is Cali (biatch!, heh) nobody is safe...

Im sure the people in soCal would take those two afwul cities...Im also sure everybody in NorCal would be willing to just give them up...we dont mind. In fact for a good trade we can do Big Bear and Mammoth and Sequoia Natl Park from the south and "central" in exchange for those terrible cities. Heh...
