Time: Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. - Round 1 begins at 1:00 p.m.
Format: Type 1
Proxies: 10 maximum
1st Prize: Unlimited Mox Ruby (2nd - 4th prizes TBD based on attendance)
Entry Fee: $25
This is our first power tournament in this store. We are trying to get a consistent Type 1 community going in Bloomington and the surrounding cities. Anyone interested in the tournament, bring your friends! If we have a good amount of participants, we will likely hold another Type 1 tournament for power in January.
On a side note, many people in our area do not have the cards to field a competitive Type 1 deck and will be borrowing cards from me. If you or your friends need to borrow cards or an entire deck, PM me and we can work something out. I'm trying to get the highest possible turnout for this tournament so that we will be able to hold another one in January.
I would appreciate you posting a reply if you plan on coming.

Seems likely I'll be there (that means I won't be hauling my ass back to Detroit for that Lotus tournament, which was unlikely anyway). I hope I can pull that bunch of jobbers from Terre Haute along with me. I'll try my very hardest. I just hope they don't do something moronic like drive half way across the country to Charlotte to play in the GP.
Maybe I can convince Rich Shay to come to this one.

Yeah, I understand. We usually make the trip to your tournies with 3 people and it costs about $15 each for gas in my '96 Accord. Hope you can make it. |

Let's bump this up.
The other Terre Hauters are in, as they decided not to be a bunch of jobbers and drive to Charlotte. The number of them is undetermined as of now, but it seems it'll be 2-3 others besides myself.

The more the merrier. Vroman says he's brining about 8 people from St. Louis, so that's at least 10-12 people from TMD. I know at least 8 people from Bloomington will attend. I'm expecting 20-25 (maybe even 30), which will easily put 2nd place at a box. Keep 'em comin!  |
