I hard guildpact is going to have this card: Guild Ritual  Sorcery Lose 5 life. Add {B}{B}{B}{B} to your mana pool. So yea, they are! :lol: :lol: :lol: God wouldn't that be overpowered if it was true? Maybe I'll work on Turn - One - Storm dot deck in legacy so they have to ban something next time. Last I tried the deck was more consistantly turn 1 than IGGy and had the same control matchup.. Hmmm. |

A little discussion from AF.Vintage is currently ruled by the Unholy Trinity of Mishra's Workshop, Mana Drain, and Tendrils of Agony, but it's stable. It's almost as if those three are in a standoff, each waiting to see if anything will be done about the others. We just don't feel anything needs to be done. Ravnica and Portal cards are making a tiny bit of noise, but nothing has upset the proverbial apple cart.

Perhaps portal is not making an upset because almost nobody has the cards and they are nowhere to be found. About Ravnica, work in progress, will be later next year before all is clear probably. So does the lack of changes indicate that there is much stabillity in our magic formats now? To stirr the "shitpot" so to speak, maybe a bit less stabillity is desired? My reasoning is that formats that are too "stable", thus nonchanging, lead to stagnation. Maybe redical change, ie. restricting/banning staples, is what we actually need. Just some thoughts  |
