Don't you hate owning 4 copies of a $100+ card that is completely useless...

I made a lot of different and mostly crappy decks with a whole lot of cards. (people can vouch for this, if anybody said a card could not be made into a deck i would proove it could, would not be a good deck but it would be a working deck) There are however cards with potential that have no use found yet. A couple to boggle the mind over:
Pursuit of knowledge Reality twist Zur's weirding (although i made a combodeck with this card once in it that actually did win because of this card a few times) Hecatomb Oath of Lim-Dul Naked Singularity Political Trickery Forsaken Wastes Illicit Auction Benthic Djinn Three Wishes Pygmy Hippo Sands of Time Teferi's Puzzle Box Wand of Denial Infernal Tribute Mana Web Winding Canyons Kezzerdrix Dracoplasm
These are just a few. Just look them up and all of them have potential but none has seen much play ever. Then the last is my all time favorite:
Ifh-Biff Efreet. In my oppinion one of the best critters ever.

This is one of the worst threads I have ever seen. Wait, I can list cards too!
Journey of Discovery Rude Awakening Fervent Denial Anger Wrath of Marit Lage Bringer of the Red Dawn Peace of Mind
Closed
Yeah, because getting everyone to talk about cards that they feel are powerful but underutilized is a completely useless excercise. Couldn't possibly lead to outside the box thinking or anything like that.No need to comment on that anymore. The thread is reopened, so please either post on-topic or don't post at all. Merry Christmas. - Bram

Timetwister in a non-combo deck...It's seriously got the best art ever, and the ability is just so damn cool. I can just imagine the glee on n00bs' faces as I'd cast this against their elf decks.
Some other cards:
Sensei's Divining Top Arcbound Ravager Tooth And Nail (OMG!!!!!!!!!! Gifts for Tooth, channel, recoup, regrowth) Any card with the Epic ability Wrath of God

Winning with Coalition Victory in some way would be totally savage.
More serious: -Holistic Wisdom -Cabal Therapy -Metalworker

Psychic Vortex (drawing as a cumulative upkeep, there must be a way to abuse this)
Pygmy Hippo (You get mana AND your opponent must tap out during your attack phase. Sadly, the only deck it might fight in (u/w fish) has no use for the extra mana)
Isochron Scepter (was all the hype really wrong?)
One With Nothing (the worst card ever must have some use)

Psychic Vortex Oooh, good one! I can't remember the number of times I fiddled with that. The problem is not the drawback, but the fact that the bonus is too slow. Isochron Scepter (was all the hype really wrong?) No, it's just that people eventually decided to read the card (i.e. no time walk etc.). One With Nothing (the worst card ever must have some use) No. It does not. It is quite simply, horrible.

One With Nothing (the worst card ever must have some use) No. It does not. It is quite simply, horrible. It's extremely limited, but it does have its uses. It works great in reanimator decks. But my favorite use is in response to a balance or windfall. That really pisses off your opponent. j

I played it in 1.5 with Dark Suspicions and Gustha's Scepeter, it actually won a couple of games. To add to the list: Imperial Recruiter Gamble limited resources Krake's thumb

There is one card to get an honorary mention.
Wheel or Deal.
I actually played this card in a deck. Then my friend Hero (Pyromaniac) pointed out the TPS decks that were comming up. I went 3 2 1 with my wheel and deal deck. After that i changed like 10 cards to make my first TPS and proceeded to win Dulmen with it a couple of weeks later, getting me my first victory in like eight years. After that TPS brought me many more victories. So this is actually a card that i ow a lot to and would love to see in a good deck.

Bazaar of Wonders TOMBSTONE STAIRWELL (omg, this card has the coolest name ever) Diabolic Intent
i have used all three in decks. Nothing beats the look on an opponents face when you drain a big spell and drop bazaar and traumatize next turn. tombstone stairwell and natuko husk. fastest growing beastick. diabolic intent sacking mindslicer. search for haunting echoes. its just rude. j

Alright lets see... these are all just for vintage, mind you...
Spiritmonger - Such a great creature, yet... too slow to make a good solid dent. Naked Singularity - With eon hub, it would just be so sick against opponents that use a deck that uses 1 or 2 colors. Eon Hub - Opens up so many options with cards that have upkeep costs. The Tabernacle at Pendrel Vale - Very lesser-known and older land. I personally like to throw this in whenever I see aggro, but never anywhere where I could keep it. Any of the Legendary elder dragons - Giant beatsticks, but a tish costly and upkeep costs are also a drag. Any of the 5 Legendary dragons from Invasion - Interesting abilities, and strong. Akroma/SotN outside Oath - Fabulous creatures, but... oath is a little boring after a while. Uncle Istvan - Just mainly one of my favorite cards ever. No real great purpose, but it's just a neat card. That, and The Dark is my favorite set... not many strong cards, but just a cool set. City of Shadows - Kinda along the same lines as Istvan, but under very specific conditions, it can be pretty interesting. Dragon Tyrant - Insanely costly, yet very very powerful. I used to run him in a casual red deck, and if he hit the board, i won. Konda, Lord of Eiganjo - Well, you can't tell me you wouldn't get a kick out of an indestructable creature that wasn't Darksteel Colossus.
And as a note to other people. There is a deck that does use Artificers Intuition, and did very well for how sudden it was. Talk to policehq if you want to know more about it.
