At regular times, Magic Club Mol organises a big Vintage (Type 1) Tournament with each time a different power card as first prize. already Given Away: Timetwister, Mox Jet, Mox Pearl, MOx Ruby, Mox Emerald. This time we will give away a Black Lotus / Ancestral Recall depending on the number of participants.

When? Sunday April 9th 2006
Format: Vintage
Doors : 10h00
Start: 11h00
Prizes:
1ste prize: Black Lotus (if at least 60 participants)
Ancestral Recall (if 40 - 59 participants)
Library of Alexandria (if less than 40 participants)

Prizes for top 8
Special prize for best deck without powercards: Revised DUALLAND

Entry Fee: 13 euro
Location: Café 't Leeuwke, Graaf de Broquevillestraat 27, B-2400 Mol, Belgium
Concept: 6 Swiss Rounds + top 8 playoff

65 people showed up

top 2 split lotus, arthur tindemans and yours truly playing almost same decklist as our top 2 breda, march 12.

Top 8 contained
FCG
gifts w drains/ritual/tendrils (frank van Rijn)
my deck
Mud (arthur)
Mono Black! (bas bronsgeest)
Wouther dhondt (gifts)
carl devos (cs with burning wish)
UW fish

After quarters, there were 4 dutchies in top4 Wink

Congrats Daniel and Arthur.

I was indeed playing gifts, and many people seemed to think it was a suboptimal build Wink . Also, Carl was playing Burning Slaver (or CS with Burning Wish if you don't want a different name).

Hmm, I only played 2 basic islands instead of 4, making my deck 60 cards instead of 62...
