I don't know how to word this better.  I think the card isn't broken in the slightest, as it requires triple red mana and a huge amount of investment to get yourself into, AND, whenever you get it into play, it forces you to have high-cc spells in your hand, which weren't casted yet.

If there's a way to break this, I can change it, but as it stands, I don't think the card is overpowered, and I don't know if there's a card that does an effect like this in the game.

You might even be able to lower the casting cost a little bit without it being in anyway overpowered. Or, as a very cool idea, you could lower it too RRR and make it symmetrical. I like that, but I think it goes against the original concept. Anyways, maybe make it 4RRR or 3RRR?

Lol nice call jacob, yea this breaks in on pyromancys design space, not to mention even at 4 mana it was really that good... This is 8 mana and by the time it hits play (ur playing red) there will be no cards in your hand. At least pyro hit play on turn 3-4 and activated every turn after

So instead of infringing on pyromancy, make it symmetrical, no?

It's also not too far from Planeswalker's Fury, although that saw an opponent reveal a card in their hand. I see this as being closer to Seismic Assault in some ways (you discard something of your choice, rather than at random). Either way, there are very few cards with this sort of ability, so I wouldn't worry too much about infringing on design space – there's plenty of room for exploration here. Also, if we want a lower mana cost, adding a cost to the ability would help, while also making it much more difficult to break the card by combo. However, if we like X, how about the following:

I was definitely NOT aware of those cards.  I suck ass.

No cost is a huge benefit of this card, though.  You can just drop like four cards as soon as this comes into play and win.

Not to mention that among things that begs to be fetched up by Academy Rector, this card may ray rank high among "I win immediately" enchantments.  You'd always have a copy in the deck, so when your Rector dies, if you happen to have more converted mana cost in your hand than your opponent has life, you get this.  Not that Rector decks are on the radar anymore, so I don't know if that's a bad thing.

This could be pretty broken with Enduring Ideal, too.
