Hi everyone. I'm going to be moving to Peterborough, Ontario in September to go to school at Trent University. Does anyone on this forum live in Peterborough or go to Trent? Are there any gaming stores there? I can't imagine not playing Magic for a year! Help me out!

Are you from toronto? I assume yes judging by your email in your sig
and do you have a car.
As you well know if you are from Ontario somewhere, there are at LEAST 1 or 2 power tourney's every month in the gta area, so if you can drive or get a ride than you should be fine (well at least playing 1 or 2 times a month) Most of the tourney's are an hour or two out of toronto anyway so they may be just that much closer.

I assume that peterborough is a big enough town to either have a gameshop or to at least have a university games club but there is probably only a remote chance they are into T1, more likely multiplayer and drafting.

Sorry if this isn't quite the answer you are looking for.

Good luck

-Andrew O

PS who are you? do you go to the toronto T1's ? and if so have I met you at tournaments?

*not so FUN FACT*
Trent University had the highest suicide rate of any Canadian university for a very long time (not sure if it still does)

Hahaha...that's not exactly a selling point.

Regarding tourny play, no, I don't currently play any in the GTA. I used to play several years ago, in the late 90's, but I was on a Magic hiatus for a few years. I'm getting back into the swing of things now and I'm working on a rogue deck to pilot at the vintage tourny on April 29th.
