Sundering Geomancy  - {G}
Instant
As an additional cost to play Sundering Geomancy, sacrifice a land.
Destroy all creatures attacking you with a landwalk ability that shares at type with the land you sacrificed.
Draw a Card.

"If they are useing the land to fight us... we must use the land to fight back..."

Is the wording of this ability right?  I was trying to convay that if you have Cat Warriors, Plauge Bettle, and that 2/1 with non-basic landwalk all attacking me, I could sac a Bayou to get all 3.

I think the cantrip is appropriate for a green card that is narrowly useful (look at frog tounge, insist, and bind).

Does this card suck too much?

The flavor is that you are useing the land (that the creature are sneaking through) to consume the attackers.  Would the be better as a red ability? "Reckless Geomancy" as a {R} ability?

I think this is fine as a green card.  It works through landwalk, which is green, and green did, long ago, have Sandstorm.  I really love the flavour of this card, although I have no idea how to word it.  I can think of some clunky ways of doing so, but nothing particularly elegant.  If you absolutely need a wording and nobody else can come up with one, here's what I would use...

Sundering Geomancy
{G}
Instant

As an additional cost to play Sundering Geomancy, sacrifice a land.
Destroy each attacking creature with a landwalk ability that made it unblockable as long as defending player controlled the sacrified land.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

How about:

As an additional cost to play Sundering Geomancy, sacrifice a land.
Destroy each attacking creature with landwalk of any of the sacrificed land's types.

Based off [card]Excavator[/card].

I don't think that works.  It's a damned good thing that Excavator specifies basic lands because otherwise it would need funky templating too.  The fact that this is supposed to hit creatures with legendary/nonbasic landwalk as well makes this hard to template.

Would this be even slightly green if it gave you control of the creatures instead of destroying them? Because that would make the card seriously awesome.

Only if are colour-blind  Very Happy

Red would get that I guess although that ability looks Blue IMHO.

I think the Ephraim wording looks functional to me (the destroy version of course)

If you want funky, go chunky!

Still not very good with Tolarian Academy but all those Swampwalkers die from the destruction of the Swamp and nicely decompose making little wet puddles, ditto Forests growing from the dead, Plains from the bones of the fallen (think Siberia)Mountains are tricky but floating bodies could certainly be seen as Islands.

Sundering Geomancy  - {G}
Instant

Play only during combat after attackers have been declared.
Choose a land you control, and remove all other lands you control from the game. Then, destroy each attacking creature that
is unblockable and has a landwalk ability. Then, sacrifice all lands you control, and return to play all lands removed from the game by ~this~

Draw a Card.

Tada.

Isn't that just a sick mana engine with a weak Green ability tagged on?

How about:

As an additional cost to play Sundering Geomancy, sacrifice a land.
Destroy all creatures attacking you with a landwalk ability that shares at type with the land you sacrificed, If that land is non basic destroy all creatures with non-basic landwalk.
Draw a Card.

Because Island, Forest, Plains, Swamp, and Mountain are all "types" correct?  So then it would get any combination of the five basic lands and non-basic.  I would be happy with that (sorry: Snow-covered Forest walk, and Artifact landwalk)

OR you could go the "balance" Route

As an additional cost to play Sundering Geomancy, sacrifice a land.
If the sacrificed land was a forest destroy all creature attacking you with forestwalk.  Repeat this for mountains, plains, islands, swamps, non-basic, legendary, and artifact lands.
Draw a Card.

Ugg thats even worse =/

I can't see the problem with Ephraim's wording.
