R&D are saving up turns in their vault.  It's what powers the Time Machine.

Richard Garfield and I have never been seen in the same place at the same time. Coincidence?

Oh man, Canadian pop culture references. Good thing Wikipedia exists, or else I would be tremendously confused.

Is that one of the Kids in the Hall, or is that Juliette Lewis (Natural born killers)?  Useless trivia... Did you know that Rob Zombie (Rob Cummings at the time) was a production assistant on Peewee's playhouse?  I believe it was his job before being a layout designer for penthouse lol.

Quote from: Wikipedia - Gumby
Gumby himself first appeared on the Howdy Doody show in 1956 and was given his own NBC series in 1957. Female voice actors originally supplied the voice of the title character during the initial episodes.

I'm also fairly certain he made an appearance on Nickelodeon MUCH later down the line.

Canadian Kid's Shows rocked. There was this on show called Today's Special that they had on Nick. It was about this lady with an Afro who worked in a department store. And at night, after the store closed, she'd give a mannaquin a Magic Hat. And he'd turn into a human.

Another one was called Pinwheel. It was like Seasame Street, without being nearly as cool.

Yeah, couldn't beat Seasame Street. Except maybe Voltron. And Tranzor-Z.

Today's Special was wicked crazy.  Its like the precursor to "The Fuccons".  You had sam the security guard who's only friend was his stupid talking computer, and then you had muffy the mouse who only talked in rhyme.

The Raccoons was wicked.  Cyril Sneer was badass.

One of my dream-shows is Gumby walking into Joyce's Finnegan's Wake.

Now that would be awesome.

So many years later, and the theme song is still burned into my memory. Sad
