Even so. Why would you want a 4/4 for GG2 that has to bin itself to gain life when you can play a 3/2 for GG1 that you can target but they can't and regenerates?

As for the Paladin and Champion vote, is this really a fair fight? I predit at least a 65/35 split in favor of Paladin. Link.Wow, was I off: Paladin en-Vec wins against Auriok Champion!

Totals 8683 100% Freaking Timmies. As for the art, I can't believe the Martinier Plains lost by 8%. As for Ascetic vs. Baloth vs. Erhnam, I can say I am completely ambivalent. It's all "meh" to me. |

Obviously Troll or Baloth, seeing as Ernie really sucks by modern standards. In a vacuum, I'd choose Baloth because it's much less annoying to play against - you can kill the stupid thing if you need to, but it's still a really efficient creature with a good ability. But, then again, I own 4 Trolls and 0 Baloths, so selfishness wins out :-/ |

Troll, this guy was stupid in B/G aggro in Extended and Standard. He fits the three drop curve for green PERFECTLY. The only three drop green has in standard right now is Burning-Tree Shaman. Troll lets you get the most out of your turn two combine with an elf. I really think Baloth has fallen out of playability. The format has Hiearch which is far superior but even the decks he is in aren't too hot.
Erhnam Djinn is complete crap. I'd be running Hunted Wumpus before him.

Wow, I knew Ascetic woudl win but not in that massacre. 60/26/13!
As far as the new votes, the equipment vote is predetermined: there is no way at all that Warhammer will lose. No way at all.
I don't care about the lands, but wow Lord of the Pit sketch B is so cool.

Yeah, Troll wins obv. That WTF for Standard is looking better and better.
I predict sketch A to win for Lord of the Pit, simply on the grounds of it looking more like the original. Lord of the Pit is a nostalgia card. That said, I agree with Matt that sketch B is very awesome.

Sketch A has a lot of inherent flaws--I could easily see myself voting for anything else just to avoid it (and this is speaking as someone who remembers the original Lord of the Pit back when it was actually good).
Fortunately, Sketch B is awesome, so everyone should just vote for it.

on the troll:i thought the "good" players would have there votes split in half between baloth and troll, while ernahm dijn would get a lot of the casual players, causing the dijn to win like 50/25/25 as in djin/baloth/troll. As for which is better, although troll was amazing in t2, that was because it won with amazing equipments ie: jitte and sofi. While baloth has been outdone by mr.hierach. Troll makes mga a lot better now.
As for the art, i would say that both sketches look pretty awefull, but B is the better of the two.
