I really hope this one flops like Charlotte, not because I hate SCG, on The contrary, I <3 SCG, but I'm quite spiteful of the fact they didn't have a Chicago.  Driving 10+ hours to every event = suck.

You've had events, and you'll have more events. There are a TON of players who have been waiting forever for a Boston SCG event.

I think one of the last things that it did was Bring home at least 4 pieces of power out of the last SCG.    Just a thought...........

Its so cute when kids pretend they're all grown up.
Maybe if you come out east, we'll let you play with the big kids!

Just wait till GenCon baby.  It'll all be settled out then.  And if we lose, then Soly, Rhyno and Matt Morrison are all pretty huge and will take you guys out while I go hide in a corner.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that anywhere outside of New England is kinda like Baseball's National League, even if you win the NL championship you're just the best of a bad lot and then you get swept in the world series AND EVERYBODY KNOWS IT.

Michigan players are apparently so good that we don't need to go to any events.  We just sit around, smoke and drink and play the Slaver V Gifts mirror over and over.

If my teamates don't completely vag out (for the third consecutive time)  I would most likely attend this event.

Does anyone know if the sub shop next door is still as good as it used to be? There is a definate lacking of good sub shops down here and that is one of the things about the trip I am looking forward to.

Was still reasonably tasty when I was there a few months ago at a random PTQ, but I currently live in cleveland circle where there are superior sub shops.

This is exactly a week before I ship.  I will be at this event.  It doesn't matter what it takes.

I will fly.

I will drive.

I will walk.

I will hitchike.

I will ride piggyback.

If you try and stop me, then woe is you.  I will go into lifetime debt if needs be.  I will be there.

Sweet, now all you need to do it talk methu into coming.

Well after unloading lots of cardboard at gencon, i'm looking for a new car and this might be just the trip to break it in! Besides I missed worlds (due to working a booth all four days) and I think i've won/split enough small tourneys this year to be due for a big one!!! Expect some # of GWSers to be here and making insane plays!

By some curious quirk of fate, I happened to get both days off from work without asking.

I'll be there, and lose something fierce.
