I suppose its a good common for limited.

I was a big fan of Death Pulse, which is instant and has cycling with giving a creature -1/-1.

good common.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

I like too. One of those cards you're surprised hasn't been made before.

I like it.

Possible names:
Swallowing Grave ("The earth pulls the living into the dirt.")
Curse the Body ("Sorcerers of the planes work powerful magics, able to rot a person's skin and turn their bones to liquid.")
Feeble Bones ("Under the effects of the weakening spell, the creatures of Dominaria were unable to support themselves and collapsed to the ground.")

Like any decent removal, this card would obviously get played in Limited.  What I wonder is if this card is properly costed / typed.  Last Gasp is an instant that gives -3/-3 for 1B.  Pull Under is an instant that gives -5/-5 for 5B (and it's Arcane, but whatever).  Does that mean that this should also be an instant?  Or maybe it can cost 2B?  I think that could still be balanced with Death Pulse, because Death Pulse is insane when you can cycle it to kill something.

I was wondering about that, I feel like it could probably be 2B, but that will get tuned in Development anyway.  And yeah, Arcane adds a full point of mana to costs.  However, there is a significant difference between -3/-3, -4/-4, and -5/-5.  There's less difference between -3/-3 and -2/-2.

I think this card is good as is. You could make it instant or {2} {B} if you really wanted. I wouldn't object, but not every card needs to be on the razor-edge of efficiency. This card is still pretty good in limited in its current form, and development can always tweak things based on the environment. It's seeing cards like these that make you realize how ridonkulously good Last Gasp is.

How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.

This is fine - fiddling with 1 mana either way is a development issue. 4 mana to almost certainly kill a creature is a fair deal. If we later want to add a block mechanic (of the type like Kicker/Flashback/Cycling which can go on anything) we could add 1-2 mana and bung it on as well.

Compare this to Last Gasp. It's fine (first pick though).
