Wow... My musical taste is so freaking weird compared to all this stuff posted that I have never heard of...
Right now = "I Tried" by Bone-thugs-en-harmony
When Playing Magic I listen to the same mix of like 5-6 songs on repeat. For some reason it works really well.
"O Fortuna from Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff "Fanfare for the Common Man" Aaran Copland "Ride of the Valkyries" by Richard Wagner "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis "Furious Angels" by Rob Dougan "Bitches Ain't Shit" by Ben Folds (barrowed from Dr. Dre) And if Im trying to sleep (which is my newer trademark) I will add on "Rhapsody in Blue/American in Paris" lol

www.Pandora.comIt lets you create your own Radio Station based of common musical traits in bands/songs you like. It breaks down the songs according to the actual musical traits, as opposed to useless characteristics like the way a band is perceived or what genre they're supposed to belong to. It's a great way to find new music you enjoy. from the site The Music Genome Project
On January 6, 2000 a group of musicians and music-loving technologists came together with the idea of creating the most comprehensive analysis of music ever.
Together we set out to capture the essence of music at the most fundamental level. We ended up assembling literally hundreds of musical attributes or "genes" into a very large Music Genome. Taken together these genes capture the unique and magical musical identity of a song - everything from melody, harmony and rhythm, to instrumentation, orchestration, arrangement, lyrics, and of course the rich world of singing and vocal harmony. It's not about what a band looks like, or what genre they supposedly belong to, or about who buys their records - it's about what each individual song sounds like.
Over the past 6 years, we've carefully listened to the songs of over 10,000 different artists - ranging from popular to obscure - and analyzed the musical qualities of each song one attribute at a time. This work continues each and every day as we endeavor to include all the great new stuff coming out of studios, clubs and garages around the world.
It has been quite an adventure, you could say a little crazy - but now that we've created this extraordinary collection of music analysis, we think we can help be your guide as you explore your favorite parts of the music universe.
We hope you enjoy the journey.

Thanks for the link ELD. I had a few friends say positive things about Pandora.com, but never really explained how cool it is. I like Frontline Assembly, and this is Pandora's synopsis: ambient soundscapes disco influences constantly shifting beats use of call-and-response vocals use of vocal counterpoint vocal samples gritty vocal style altered vocal sound a bumpin' kick sound a synth bass riff a variety of synth sounds atmospheric production extensive studio production a highly synthetic sonority a wet recording sound subtle use of noise effects trippy soundscapes I'll be exploring this soon and often. My current station is "Industrial Music" with Frontline Assembly, Nince Inch Nails and Suicide Commando as the filterers...

Seriously, that was a great link. WWW.Pandora.Com rules.
Not all TMD'rs have crazy eclectic musical tastes (this come from my reading this thread, and knowing all of 2-5 people who have TMD accounts), but seriously, this thing is pretty awesome.

Hypnotize (DJ Shimamura Remix) - Koja Yukino Next: Hypnotize (Buzzmasta Remix) - Koja Yukino After: Hypnotize (OMEGA FORCE & DJ ZET Mix) - Koja Yukino
shining stars (Ryu☆ & MC Natsack MIX) - Koja Yukino & Teranoid
That Pandora link was pretty good. Found a lot of stuff I normally listen too. Even had some of the more mainstream Japanese and Korean music I listen too.

Pandora is great, but it has its limits. For example, I really, really like THE APPLES in Stereo, but it's hard to find other really gleamy indie pop in the same vein. Their suggestions are a little off. I'm now listening to PAS/CAL, which is about the sunniest pop in the world, and it makes me happy to listen to it. It's like if you distilled the beach boys for about thirty more years, this might be what comes out. www.pascalgoespop.com

Borknagar: Revolt
I'm new to this band and holy fuck are they good. The Quintessence and Borknagar albums anyways, those are supposed to be their more traditional symphonic black sounds. Quintessence featuring ICS Vortex on the vocals... and they're distorted! So much goodness.
