How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.

I really like how the card is at the same time very simple, but also interesting to play. I think it's balanced power-wise, and would make a good uncommon (or rare) in any set. It might be a little bit weak, though; remember your opponent doesn't have to block, so this will often be worse than River Boa or Dryad Sophisticate. Still an excellent Uncommon for a set that can get tricky with pump-spells and provoke-abilities, two quite common things in green. I love it! Very Happy

edit: maybe change name and type. I think Katamari look like http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/6172/katamari4sz.jpg  (though I also found hentai and Kittens when searching for "Katamari" via google, but those are basic elements of the internet, so I ignored it).

Katamari is not intended as the final name and creature type.

It is a reference to Katamari Damacy, a game where you roll a giant ball around, picking up objects as you roll over them.

It seems to end up like a kind of lame Fungusaur.

Maybe make it something like:

When a creature Katamari damaged this turn is put into a graveyard from play, put a +2/+2 counter on it. If Katamari is blocked by a creature and does not destroy it, remove a +2/+2 counter from Katamari.

The idea being that in Katamari Damacy if you hit something you can't roll over you lose size. Katamari here has the power to become sizable more quickly, but also he will be reduced to manageable size by low power / high toughness creatures.

Give it Provoke and Trample?  Why not make a bigger, more awesome Fungusaur?  THat's always a popular creature.

Greater Fungusaur - 2GG
Creature - Fungusaur
Provoke, Trample
Whenever Greater Fungusaur is blocked, put a +1/+1 counter on it.

I like provoke. 1/1 for four is a little harsh, though. I think 2/2 for four is good.

The first time it blocks it jumps up to a 2/2.  I think it's a little weak now, but provokoe was very heavily costed before.
