Hahaha! No, obviously not just tournaments, Jacob. That's just the setting where I met *most* TMD'ers. Notable others I met disembarking from high-speed trains and/or in shady underground bars Wink

Oh, what about the map of Meandeck Europe?  (It was a map of Europe with Holland/The Netherlands/Dutchieland highlighted in red, with an arrow pointing to it with the words "Meandeck Europe" written above)

Which in turn had grown out of the joke of Meandeck adding Brainstorm to a deck and then giving it the "meandeck" lable. WS Slaver I think.

Oh man, how could we forget lions v. midgets?!

Damn.  Well, there's still my blog (anyone remember this: http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=27758.msg410596#msg410596).  Eli Kaplan was also confused when I first talked to him.

Honestly, I don't see how this thread has gotten this far without some reference to Kowal's faux B/R report on Night's Whisper.  That may well have been the best post I have seen on any internet forum ever.

This page?

Yes, it was quite the classic.

Is the 40 Midgets VS a Lion poll still too recent to be considered for this thread?

If you refer to a thread that still exists, point to it. I know most have, but for those of us that have the memory of a goldfish, it's difficult to find them.Smile

I found this:

Well now that it's offically safe to be egotistical...Razz

I'm Shannon O'Meara, one of the few female members of TMD, and a somewhat ravenous supporter of budget decks and budget deckbuilding.

My personal resume is highlighted by Vineyard TnT and Slax, but I'll play W/G Enchantress over either when I think it can win.

If anyone cares, I'm 17 and a high school junior in the US - greater Pittsburgh area. I hope to study music after high school.
