I need a deck for my non-vintage magic peeps...so it has to be cool but not too good, or they won't play with me.  Anyone else here know how that goes?  Yeah.  It sucks.

Pretty simple.  Draw cards, counter spells, lock up the board and swing for the win.  I suppose I should keep it legacy legal, for the benefit of my friend packing green.dec.  Suggestions?

This deck runs UbaMask style unlike your Slaver-like skeleton.

The lock is pretty simillar to yours. Although I pefer Static over Winter for general purposes. I belive B.Well is strictly better than Relic barrier. And Lodestone Myr is like Karn for classic $T4Ks, but better.

I wish Cephalid Colesium could replace Bazaar, but getting threshold is qute hard and the dmg is too harsh for mana when I run A.Tomb in an aggro environment. Hence I'm stuck w/ Thirsts which I hate as I usually need to use Tombs to cast it.

Looter Il-Kor has been a good addition and at times makes me seriously consider SoFaI but it weakens the lock base. Just that beating for 20 turns just won't cut for Legacy. And it borderlines into becoming Faerie Stompy. If only I can squeeze Smokestacks back in, but unfortunately it's just gonna stay in the SB against slower contol decks.

I run 4 Academy Ruins as I generally want to see 1 A.S.A.P. Nothing like a recurring Wire w/ Static on the board. It's the closest to Welder that I can get in a format w/ creature hate MD. And with 4 Diamonds, holding on to the 2nd one isn't all that bad.

Unfortunately I seem to run into a lot of Faerie Stompy which totally demolishes this deck as it runs a simillar mana base and has mana tricks that seems to be built to trump my mana denial strategy.
