We are holding a series of Legacy tournaments in Columbus, Ohio leading up to the Grand Prix. Some of you have expressed interest in legacy in Columbus. Those of you from the midwest have no excuse! Come out and play. Our last event was a great success so we wish to build upon it!

To summarize:

What: Legacy tournament

Entry is $15

Where: The Soldiery

4256 N. High St.

Columbus, Ohio 43214

When: January 21, 2006

Prizes: Will be based upon attendance. Last time we gave away
1st: $200
2nd: $120
3rd:$60
4th:$20

Registration starts at 12:30. Tournament begins at 1pm sharp.
Last time the tournament went until around 8pm.

Also: this event will be sanctioned and judged. Don't forget your DCI number! With GP: Columbus coming up after the event, this is a good place to test your deck or cut your teeth on the Legacy format.

Hope you can make it!

Those of you from the midwest have no excuse!

It's at the Soldiery. That's all the excuse I need. Although I live ten minutes away, I will absolutely be passing on this.

If you have a problem with the venue, enlighten us. Otherwise, a PM would have been just as useful to the TO, while not bothering anyone else.

Right, because there are so many other places in central Ohio that are located well enough to draw nearly 40 people to a legacy tournament.  And given how much fun the last tournament was its completely your own loss not to attend.  Oh, and quit trolling, you contributed absolutely NOTHING to the thread with that comment of yours.

Your tone leaves much to be desired - there's no need to react so violently. If you have a problem with a post in future, click on the Report Post link and fill out the form, and leave it at that.

The first one was a blast, so of course I'll be there to sling magical cards! Then, we can go to the Mecca that is Thurmans, so I can once again have a bacon cheeseburger the size of my head. Trust me, this will be a truckload of fun.

Later,
Dave

Ok, I apologize. I'm just uber-pissed at the owner, and I won't enter that store until it's under new management.

I won't post on the next Soldiery tournament thread. Can we love each other long time now?

We discussed it and decided to keep it where it is.   It's a Sunday, so people will still have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the Pre-release on Sat.

Unfortunately my car is broken so I will not be attending.  I could go but it would cook my car.

I wish I could say I was going but I will be at Con-Fusion all weekend.

     -2 Kids
     + 1 Wife
     + 1 Hotel Room for 2 nights.

This plan is waaaaaay better than magical cards in ohio.
