Erayo, Soratami Ascendant
1{U}
legendary creature - monk

Flying

Whenever the fourth spell of a turn is played, flip Erayo, Soratami Ascendant.

Split card

Erayo's Essence
Legendary Enchantment
Counter the first spell each opponent plays each turn.

Question 1 : I play a mox, mox, brainstorm and I cast an erayo, does it become a enchantment?

Question 2 : I play a mox, mox, erayo adn brainstorm, does it become an enchantment?

question 3
: My opponent casted 2 irrelevant spells this turn. he attacks with 2 dark confidants. I have an erayo in play, and I decide to block. I play brainstorm before blockers are declared ( spell 3 this turn) and I decide to block one of the confidants. damage on stack, I play a Stps on the other confidant.

The way I see it, he loses both confidants, one due to lethal damage, one is removed. my erayo becomes an enchantment, and it survives, because its no longer a creature. is this correct?

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

In order for the Erayo Flip Trigger to go on the stack Eryo must be in play when the spell is announced.

So the answer to question 1 is No.  Erayo (being the 4th spell) is on the stack when the 4th spell is played.  So it will not be in play to trigger this turn. * Bonus Edit:  If you play Mox, Erayo, I force, and you Force back that is also 4 spells for turn.  However Erayo will miss the boat to flip because she is still on the stack when the 4th spell is cast.

Question 2 is Yes.  The thing to remember about Erayo is that Erayo never forgets how many actual spells were played durring the current turn.  So reguardless of when Erayo comes into play (or flips for that matter) a spell for turn is a spell for turn.

"Question" 3: you are correct.  Erayo while a creature is allowed to stack damage.  The STP will trigger the flip.  Before the STP resolves the "Flip Erayo" Trigger goes on the stack.  If that resolves then Erayo becomes an enchantment and thus cannot take damage.  *Note that Enchantment Erayo can not counter a spells this turn.  If your opponent plays a spell in the 2nd main it will be their 3rd spell for turn (and the 5th total spell this turn).  Erayo doesn't care about their 3rd spell or the 5th total spell.
