I've played against emperor before. He's basically a giant child who can't conceive of any reason people would play flusterstorm. When you cast it he talks about how smart he is, and how dumb you are for having to play the card. Its pretty funny.

I watched a few of his matches today.  He let everyone know how bad their decks/card choices are.  In one match he compared his skills to Stephen Menendian's and Rich Shay's, later stating that he was the best vintage player in the world. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Is serious mental illness something we should be laughing at? More than a few of the psych analyses coming out trying to explain the increasingly brutal history of mass shootings say that it's simply getting easier to laugh at and then dismiss psychotic people instead of helping them to get the help they need.

Maybe we should all start referring him to a psychiatrist before leaving the game. Maybe ask if he's making progress with his therapist. Etc.

Suggested feature for cockatrice: karma. You can up/down vote a user if you've played against them for at least 15 minutes AND you have 20+ karma yourself. To seed the system, you just hand out 30 karma to 100 or so users you know aren't douchenozzles.

Suggested feature for cockatrice: karma. You can up/down vote a user if you've played against them for at least 15 minutes AND you have 20+ karma yourself. To seed the system, you just hand out 30 karma to 100 or so users you know aren't douchenozzles.

This has been discussed a ton of times, and it's not going to happen. The potential for abuse is far far higher than any possible benefit.
