Dave, I noticed you dropped chalice from your board, I have been testing quite a bit and have had really good success against flash with the same maindeck(except I run 1 scrubland in place of 1 tundra) using the following board:

3 chalice of the void
3 seal of cleansing
2 threads of disloyalty
4 leyline of the void
1 kataki, wars rage
2 echoing truth

against flash I have been doing, -2 kataki, -2 daze,-3 swords to plowshares for my lot of leylines and the chalices, maybe this isnt the best strategy(not sure) but it has been working well for me

Again, thank you for the very in depth reply!

I was just about to ask about chalice's before I refreshed the page and saw that The Chosen One had allready adressed this question.  To follow up on this issue, I assume that the spell snares are being used to counter the scrolls, or more importantly the flashes so that they cannot flash in hulk.  I would deduce that this means that you have forgone chalice'ing their summoners pact so as to have more spell hate potential versus the true killers?  Is this corret?

Overall I will just have to playtest the crap out of this as soon as I get a chance.  I love the list as a whole, and I understand that the sideboard really is a bit amorphous unitl the meta is established, I will have to scrutinize over what has been played over the past few tournaments to really make final decisions (which I am sure I will change day of Razz)

Once I have played it a bit more, especially versus true vintage arch decks, I will have a better feel Smile

@Dave and Chosen One:
Sideboard versus Goblins? I am a bit scared of this which went 2nd at the last eudemonia: https://www.eudemonia.net/store/deck.php?id=101

@ LotusHead
Solid man thank you, I will try to get out to eudemonia and see if I can get some games in.  Sorry to hear your local shop was closed, Vacaville is a bit of a drive.  I should know since my GF lived in Davis for 2 years Razz

If goblins is highly represented in a tournament(hopefully found in scouting before submitting the decklist) I would find room for 2-3 engineered plague and maybe try to squeeze in 2 umezawa's jittes in the board. Thats really the best thing I can think of....

@Dave
Have you tested Stormscape Apprentice? Seems like it would be quite strong in the GAT matchup and also strong against many other things you're likely to see(angels, DSC, tarmogoyf, salvagers, opposing grunts, etc.)
