Well I've always been a Johnny type of player, and I've been pondering this deck ever since I've seen some of the new cards in planar chaos and around that block. I once had a friend who walked into on our local card shop with a white weenie deck, and nobody had expected or sided against it. He had won a vintage tournament with a white weenie deck.

Now I'm not saying that this deck will be able to win big T1 Tournaments or anything. However, I do think that this deck can be made to be at least competitive with some good T1 decks. I've thought, would it be possible to make that deck even better by splashing green since green has gotten so much better? Here's an idea that I've been thinking.

Creatures:20
4 Ohran Viper
4 Savannah Lions
4 Watchwolf/River Boa/Mire Boa-----Need help here
4 Jotun Grunt
2 True Believer
2 Kataki, War's Wage

Artifacts:7
3 Umezawa's Jitte
4 Aether Vial

Enchantments:3
3 Rootmaze

Instants:5
3 Swords to Plowshares
1 Disenchant
1 Naturalize

Sorceries:4
4 Harmonize

Lands:21
4 Savannah
4 Windswept Heath
4 Plains
4 Forest
4 Wastleland
1 Stripmine

I thought the Harmonizes would be good, adding draw to White Weenie which really doesn't have any. I figured I would use Ohran Viper because of its card-drawing ability too, but should I maybe take them out in favor of Jungle Lion or a quicker creature? Also, should something be taken out in order to make room for the Elvish Spirit Guides?

As for my metagame, it's all over the place but the T1 tournament is non-proxy so turn 1-2 wins aren't too common. Most decks are creature-based such as goblin/Red-Green Aggro/Fish. But I want this deck to still be able to compete against the majority of T1 decks, not just my local metagame.

It looks like I do need more hate too. The hate I do have though I feel is well spread out. Artifact/Combo decks are shut down by either Rootmaze or Kataki. Burn/Combo has to take out the true believer before they get to me. Also, for creatures I have Swords to Plowshares and also the Jittes can do the job of creature killing well.

Another thought I was pondering was Land Tax. If I cut the Ohran Vipers, I could atleast add Land Tax to thin my deck for lands atleast. Also, 1 Fastbond could help with a faster jump putting multiple lands into play quickly.

Also, by the time I'm able to us it the game might be over but what about Serra Avenger?

What about taking out 2 savannah lions and adding 2 Isamaru, Hound of Konda?  Or better yet, just add 2 Isamarus and take out the 2 true believers.  I'm not so sure what true believer does for you?  Do you have it in there to buy you an extra turn against Tendrils?  Seems like Grunt/Kataki main deck should help slow tendrils without having to add the True Believers which seem very narrow (ie. are pretty dead vs. non-tendrils).

Why no lotus petal?

I like the idea, if rg beatz can do it, why not wg!?
I would be tempted to nix the grunt for a tarmogoyf personally. I've found the true believers aren't very helpfully in the current meta, storm is on a decline, I could seem them possibly as a SB card. since you have no real draw engine I'd up the kataki count to 3or add sword of fire and ice for additional power/toughness/removal/draw/and evasion.
between the 2 boas, I'd go with mire. it gives you an excuse to splash black and play things like urborg, tutors, and crop rotation. I'd also consider a solo loam and just maybe 1 or 2 nantuko monistary might be worth looking into depending on how testing goes.

good luck!

I've been messing with the list some and I feel this is a better version:

Creatures:20
4 Ohran Viper
2 Savannah Lions
2 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4 Watchwolf/River Boa/Mire Boa-----Need help here
4 Jotun Grunt
2 True Believer
2 Kataki, War's Wage

Artifacts:8
3 Umezawa's Jitte
4 Aether Vial
1 Lotus Petal

Enchantments:4
3 Rootmaze
1 Fastbond

Instants:7
3 Swords to Plowshares
2 Oxidize
1 Crop Rotation
1 Enlightened Tutor

Sorceries:1
1 Regrowth

Lands:20
4 Savannah
4 Windswept Heath
3 Plains
3 Forest
4 Wasteland
1 Stripmine
1 Gaea's Cradle

So I should SB the 2 True Believers and add either Savannah Lions or whatever Mire/River Boa?

More drawing seems like a good idea but what would I take out for the Sword of Fire/Ice? I'd rather keep the Jittes though.

Tarmogyf's always solid, as aggro beaters go.  Last tournament I played in, a guy running a Sea Stompy/GAT hybrid with, among the other usual toys, Tarmo did reasonably well.  He can get pretty big pretty fast in this format.  Other than that, I'd second putting True Believer in the board, since it  just won't come into play all that often in the current meta.

I'd definitely add in SoFaI, probably cutting the Vipers.  They've never seemed to do enough for me when I've played them.
