That's a very well built Landstill deck. Kudos. Also, I love Lany's bizarre ScrollRack.dec! Awesome!

Annie-Claude Morin Ichorid list is missing 4 cards from the main, would these be leyline?  Otherwise interesting breakdown.  2/3 hulk flash got into the top 8 as did the lone dredge, and even older decks like control slaver and a new parfait, seems like a really fun place to play.

It's 4 Leyline of course! I Edit the decklist.

And yes it's a fun place to play! We prefer having these kind of metagame breakdown than something like this:
10 GAT
10 Flash
9 Dredge
9 Superlong

In my opinion, it's not normal to have only 4 different deck in a 25+ players tournament! There is far more than 4 good deck in the format...

Some more cards miss:

- Lany's list
2 maindeck cards

- Bruno's list
5 maindeck cards

On the rest I agree, very interesting metagame. Cheers for Land Tax in top 8  Wink

QFT

I love the Land Tax list as well: Parfait has been my first control deck in T1 after the mighty BG Nether Void Wink ... Lovely! And it even seems quite competetive, I especially love its damn solid draw engine paired with Chains of Mephistopheles. Maralen of the Mornsong could be some good in this. Nice job!!

Wierd to see so few workshops in the tourney, especially no Mono Red Workshop.

Please do not play Parfait.

It was my second and last tournament with it. The deck is so incredibly slow... I could not finish game 2 in any of the first 4 rounds. It doesn't have any really good matchups but very few bad matchups too. Also the deck is incredibly hard to play (you need a whole lot of testing) and there is no good finisher. In this tournament I tried using Serra Avengers instead of the Belcher and, even though it's a little better against aggro, it's still slow as hell. Also, you never have time to scout to see what other are playing and since you always go in the 5 extra turns, everyone comes and sees your deck. Also, you don't have time to eat until top 8, and even then it's kind of tricky.

I only regret not having been paired against Landstill, that would have been one epic boring match.

As for Shops, there are always very few, no surprise there, it has never been strong in our meta.

Parfait decklist is missing Demonic + Vampiric tutors.
