I'll be moving to Washington, DC in another month or so and am hoping to continue playing Vintage Magic on a semiregular basis.  Is there anything local that goes on?  Any TMDers out there?  Anybody have a job for a writer/editor/designer/publisher with 3 years experience?

Vintage interest in the DC metro area has been decidedly low by my perception.  Legacy has a more loyal and regular following it seems, especially in NoVa.  Purplehat just posted looking for a venue, so perhaps we can form something more regular here.

there's no tournament scene as far as I can tell, but I'd certainly be down for testing.  shoot me a PM when you get down here.

I agree that there is not much in the way of a Vintage scene in this area.  I live in Alexandria and have been disappinted by this fact for years.  Even the Legacy scene is likely to drop off due to the recent demise of The Lucky Frog (RIP).  However, there is the occasional SCG Power nine in Richmond, which is not terribly far away.  The next of these is coming up soon.

If either of you guys just want to get together with a bunch of decks at a library or a restaurant or whatnot, please count me in.  I would be glad to play some in person Vintage games.  However, it would be nice to find a local store that would have us.

I'm at Dream Wizards in Rockville most Thursday and Friday nights feel free to drop by I'd be up for some Vintage games.  My name is Tim, Thursday is better as Friday I'm playing FNM.

But count me in for interest in getting some Vintage games together in the DC area.

Are any of you going to SCG Richmond?  I'm looking to get a ride from the Fairfax area (or somewhere convenient) on Friday night or Saturday morning.  I'll happily pay for gas and won't need a ride back or lodgings.  PM me!

Thanks!

Man it is like all my friends are getting out of Ohio. You will be missed.

I'll be seeing you at SCG Richmond though.
