Some pain in the ass last night asked me to scan my cards and show him the pictures because he didn't believe I owned them... playing legacy..., and he said he'd only play with people who were using cards they own. I then told him I played a lot of vintage, so I owned most of the duals, fetches, etc, to which he replied "Yeah, and I own the Brooklyn Bridge" He then decided I was cheating because I had maindeck REBs when I was playing painter.
I'm done with MWS, it's too full of complete morons
What if you were arguing with a 13 year old? Would that still make you mad?  |

When I started playing Magic back in '94 I played with my lands out front (near opponent) and creatures, and other stuff behind the land (close to me) because that made sense to me at the time.
I only started playing lands close and creatures far when it was pointed out that people could read my creatures better if they were closer, and they could probably guess what my island or mountain did.

I remember playing with my lands infront of me at a ptq and my opp. called a judge on me to make me move my lands. The judge didnt make me, he told him i can play however it made me feel comfortable

I played against eFame. He claimed his deck beat "stax in all it's forms" but then I raped him in game 3 with Chalice @ 0 and 1 on turn 1, tangle wire (missing a land drop) on turn 2, and golem on turn 3. All he had to do was have force of will, but then this happened

I just had a guy argue with me for a good 5 minutes that he could pithing needle oath of druids, to stop the activation.
Silly, he CAN Pithing Needle Oath of Druids, and it WILL stop it from activating! I love that activated ability... but triggers! Triggers are so much better! |
