Hi there to all vintage lovers,
as you may already know, vintage as we all know it is dead.
I think that the whole metagame will change post june 20th.
Ichorid will become a house, 9-sphere workshop aggro will definetly be one of the top decks and maybe even Long or other simmilar Storm-Decks will be back.
But what will the new-unpowered decks look like?
Before June 20th fish was a good unpowered deck but how should we replace the loss of brainstorm?
Or should we even replace brainstorm?
Is fish viable?
Or do we have to build new hate decks?
To decide this, we have to look at the decks that maybe will be played.
I think that the follwing decks will define the new metagame:

-Deez Noughts
-Landstill
-Painter
-Goblin(BR)
-Oath
-Ichorid(with and without mana)
-Slaver(because of the manadrain hype)
-9-sphere-ws-aggro
-Long/Tps

So with this in mind, what do we have to hate?
I think we have to hate the graveyard, so black is a color we must include.
And I think we have to hate artifacts, because of painter, the whole artifact mana, deez noughts etc...

So my first thougts went to UBR-Fish, something like this:

lands20:
1 strip mine
3 wasteland
3 volcanic island
3 underground sea
3 flooded strand
3 polluted delta
2 ancient tombs
1 badlands
1 island

Creas15:
3 goblin vandal
3 earwig squad
3 grimmoire thief
4 dark confidant
2 nezumi graverobber

Spells25:
3 null rod
2 thougtseize
4 leyline of the void
4 stifle
3 duress
1 brainstorm
1 ponder
4 fow
3 daze

SB15:
4 diabolic edict
4 pyrostatic pillar
2 ancient tomb
2 engineered explosives
3 energy flux

But the problem is I donīt like the creaturebase, to many expensive cards (hurt with confidant).
So what should I do? cut the leylines to play planar void?how should I change he creature base?
should I cut red for White or even green?

Or isnīt fish the deck to play?
Should we play B/R-Goblin with bitter ordeal, earwig squad, null rod and extirpates to shut down the opponents mana base?

Or is GW(maybe with black) beatz the new hatedeck?  thorn and glowrider to slow your opponent down???

Or am I completly wrong?

What are your thoughts of the new unpowered decks, especially hate decks?

Your comments are welcome.

Serenity

When you are building a hate deck you need to have at least some focus on what to hate out; whether it be artifacts, graveyards, the stack, enchantments, or creatures.  You need to allow your local, or expected, metagame to develope to the point where you have a better idea of what you should expect when attending.  Bringing a knife to a gun fight is bad judgement.
If you must bring a hate deck you shouldn't squander your resources and just cover your most glaringly weak matchups.  For instance if your deck can hate stax decks like nobody's bussiness but has a sub-par matchup against ichorid then you should devote a lot of sb space to that matchup.  Hate decks should act as a scalpel when fighting against their targeted matchups.  Pithing needle, planar void, engineered explosives, tormod's crypt, null rod, leyline of the void, and stifle are some excellent places to start since they hit a bunch of different decks; the problem I see is that you might be spreading yourself too thin.
You should probably be running extirpate if you can easily run black.

Nobody's using Diabolic Visions which is a great Brainstorm alternative as mentioned in another thread. Your already running u/b so the      {B} {U} mana cost shouldn't be too problematic. You might want to look at the most underplayed cards in vintage thread I started for more ideas.
