It has been over 1 year since the 8th Extravaganza. Time for some serious Magic. We are so sure that you will have a good time that we will DOUBLE your entry fee back if your not completely satisfied.
FORMAT: Vintage
WHEN: Sunday, September 7th 2008
REGISTRATION: 9:00 - 10:45am
START TIME: 11:00 am
Lunch break will follow Round 2
ENTRY FEE: FREE!
This is a DCI sanctioned event - NO PROXYS ALLOWED
Deck registration required
A certified judge will be on hand to resolve any rules questions
PRIZES
1st Place: $75.00
2nd Place: $35.00
3rd & 4th Place: $20.00 each
Top 2 unpowered decks*: $10.00 each
*A deck will considered powered if it contains at least one of the "power nine" cards
I have decided to run 2 of these events each year. The next one will be March 2009.

sweet! i was gonna sell my power but with these being sanctioned and all, and with dan frazier coming to GP Denver, i guess i'll just have to keep my moxen at least  glad to hear that you decided to run these again carl. count me in! travis |

Just a little BUMP for this tournament  The hottubs and sauna should be installed in time for this event. Hopefully the kegs of the newly remastered SCHLITZ will be there as well.  |

I'm going to Atlanta for work at the beginning of September, but I might be back for this, as the job is only supposed to last 4-5 days.

This event may not be the strongest one but it should prove interesting. I've been selling boatloads of cards to players who want to give the "unpowered" deck prize a shot. Prepare yourselves for Goblins, Hypnotic Spectors, Tarmogoyfs, Tombstalkers, Stifle/Nought, Genju of the Spires, Slivers (sigh...yes, Slivers) and more! I was considering adding prizes to the noobs who defeat anyone from the Crew but then I realized I didn't have that many cards to give away. |

BUMP Just a little reminder that this is our last BIG event of 2008. The next one will be circa March 2009 to which I have some big plans for. Power for prizes? Side events for the 0-2 drops? We'll see. I'm going to go out on a limb here and not just DOUBLE your money back but I'll TRIPLE your entry fee back if you're not completely satisfied. That means there is no reason not to show for this. I must be insane.  |
