I watched Paul Mastriano's semi-finals and the Finals.  Paul was playing a Drain / Storm deck.  He beat WUB Fish in game 3 of the semis by topdecking Black Lotus with Yawgmoth's Will in hand while facing Crucible / Strip Mine / Kataki in play.  Guess that's why he's the Vintage Champion.  But he couldn't make lightning strike twice, losing in the finals to his own Mana Crypt with Chain of Vapor on top of his deck.  That was just after his opponent (Control Slaver) had RFG'ed his own Slaver by activating it during a Yawgmoth's Will turn.

jro's account is quite accurate.  No one was more surprised than me to see that Black Lotus come off the top-deck.  It was def my only out at that point.

This was a really fun tournament, and the Time Walk I won is in very nice shape for a prize piece.  It was nice to have a good showing in Philly, where I notoriously perform poorly.
