Dwarven Demolition Team and Word of Blasting sound like strong anti-wall measures. :p
And don't forget any of the many mass creature sweepers.

I really wanted the "Smother-Wrath" to cost 2BB Why shouldn't it? Conditional Wraths like Mutilate or the new WoG that lets you regenerate are all 4cmc, so why not that guy? Hasn't control.dec taken enough lumps? Sigh.

Wall of blossoms shifted to white
This guarantees Walls' dominance in Standard, and subsequently the death of Magic. Walls will be the least interactive deck ever and the mirror match will also be the most boring thing that has ever happened. RIP MTG This is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a while; magic has survived worse things than a while, like affinity, and tarmogoyf. I’m sure there will be enough stuff to deal with walls if it seems like a problem. Of the top of my head: flying, intimidate, and considering the low mana cost of most walls, if they printed some sort of instant speed mass smother that’d do the trick… oh wait they’ve got that one spoiled. I'm pretty sure he was being a little bit sarcastic...

Tuktuk actually borders on playable if people start bringing more creature sweepers main. He's a wrecking ball against Stax.
And it's a Goblin!!!1!!!

Funny thing about text, it doesn't quite transfer sarcasm very well, not without ample context anyways (with the whole lack of inflection thing). It seemed like an odd thing to make a joke about. On top of that, this is the internet and people say a lot of dumb things on the internet. For the record, if he is being sarcastic, I take back my "this is ridiculous.” edit: i was unaware toa was in t2

Maybe Mono Blue will be more than effing worthless again, however that could be wishful thinking. I will be picking up a playset just in case.

See Beyond 1u Sorcery Common Draw two cards, then shuffle a card from your hand into your library.
For those skeptical about Jace in Oath, how 'bout this?

That's the best card in this set we've seen yet. Too bad for Lat-Nam's Legacy. It had such pretty art.

No CA at sorcery speed, why would it be restricted? We have unrestricted Night's Whisper at +1.
EDIT: I understand that Ponder is restricted, but that was a garbage move by WotC and this costs more and does less, IMO.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Well, I'll certainly be testing this. The shuffle plays nice with Top in Oath, and of course shuffling in cards is good. Will it be better than the alternatives? I don't know. But I believe it is worth trying.

Haven't the recent Black 2cmc 'draw two' spells been more attractive than See Beyond? I guess I don't see what the big hoopla is...

Well oath decks have resorted to playing Show and tell and lat nam's legacy as a way to deal with drawing creatures. This card sucks slightly less than the afore mentioned cards. And i wouldn't call night's whisper recent

Dude Recall~ Sorcery As an additional cost to cast Dude Recall, tap four untapped creatures you control. Draw three cards. Are Kobolds viable now?

So this basically only fits in Merfolk or Fae, not that either of those are powerhouses in modern Vintage. Tapping four Merfolk could be ~12 power worth (two Cursecatchers and two lords?), so I think you'd rather swing. Tapping four Fae requires a couple turns of sitting on Bitterblossom (and having BB in the first place), so I think you'd rather 'cast' Ancestral Visions. This card would be a lot more interesting if it cost .

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.
Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops. I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.
