Hey guys,

I've decided to try a new deck because i lose with my u/w fish in our meta a lot.

The Decklist is

Deck
4x Windswept Heath
4x Savannah
4x Wasteland
1x Strip Mine
4x Plains
1x Forest
4x Elvish Spirit Guide
3x Ronom Unicorn
4x Glowrider
3x True Believer
2x Ethersworn Canonist
2x Jötun Grunt
3x Samurai of the Pale Curtain
4x Gaddock Teeg
4x Æther Vial
4x Chalice of the Void
4x Thorn of Amethyst
4x Swords to Plowshares
1x Balance

Sideboard
3x Harmonic Sliver
3x Kataki, War's Wage
3x Tormod's Crypt
3x Pithing Needle
3x Rule of Law

I think its really good but in our meta theres a lot of decks with counterspells and i dont know how do match them.

i havent tested it yet in a tournament but i think there will be some problems against ichorid , fish and staxx and i think the main problem is theres no cardraw

I hope someone have a idea how to upgrade this deck.

Balance seems iffy in a deck with a focus on creatures.  No Tarmogoyf or power?  Out of your budget and no proxies allowed?  Either way, I think Null Rod would be an excellent card for this deck

UHm yeah i dont have the money to buy power at the moment xD.
And the null rod will dont be good with the vials but they are good because i can play the creatures fast

Hm im not sure about cutting balance.

i thought about goofy in sideboard against unpowered decks.
And no there are no proxies allowed.

Why not run Red instead for Blood Knight and REB. You'll have better game against Shop decks (artifact hate) and Combo decks (Pillar) as well. Though you lose Tarmogoyf which is a huge clock.

w/g aggro control huh? No power, no proxies huh?  That's a shame, I always liked the idea of running bazaars with rifstone portals. You might run into problems with teeg and your chalices? again i'm agreeing with Enialis, add some null rods (maybe in place of your chalices). I'd pull the samurai (you already have tormod's crypt in the board) and add Goyfs main deck or bump your grunts and canonist up to 3 or 4 ofs...I would definitely look into some more early disruption until you land the canonist. Something like orim's chant or abeyance.

i agree i would say cut chalice, samurai, and balance

add 4 tarmo, and 4 of something else

if you are wanting card draw i would highly suggest skull clamp

you could also consider vexing shusher instead of the vials, you would just have to add slightly more green, which you would want for tarmo anyway

Your aether vials aren't going to work either, hmm, maybe null rod wouldn't be a good choice. If you can deal with the life loss I would suggest sylvan library and/or the clamp for draw (if you need it). Stick with your thorns, canonists, and teeg for disrupt (maybe glowrider?). Your vials and esg's for accel and goyfs and grunts for beats.

Thank you i'll think about the clamps.

-aether vial
+skullclamps

but i think the esg's are good to play teeg first turn or thorn cause i dont play things like chrome mox etc

Honestly I'ld keep the vials main.  And board in Null rods when you have to.  If you are worried about counter magic try Xantid Swarm as a quick one drop and gutteral response as a hard counter against counter magic.

You could also try Vexing Shusher to help with counter magic

Many decks add {G} just for Tarmos and on green you choose not to run it. Not running arguably the biggest creature at 2 mana you better have a good reason not to and i don't see it.

Teeg is cool, and I really like the {W} {W} creatures you are trying to fit in (Samaurai, Believer) I just don't know if they are good enough or easy enough to cast? Vial helps, but Null Rod is a kick the pants for many decks too. Smooth your creature drops or virtually shut down opponents mana engine is an age old question, but when you choose smaller creatures, compared to Tarmo, you really are complicating the Aether Vial and Skullclamp versus Null Rod question. Tough one. I see you run Chalice and perhaps that works. Do you ever set Chalice at anything other than 0?

Harmonic Sliver looks funky, but I dig the choice, I've seen him roll, although Seal of Cleansing is probably just easier.
