Hello, this is my first new thread here, so take this into consideration.  That said, I've been playing Vintage for quite some time now and I had an idea earlier today I thought might be interesting: Tezzeret Bomberman.  I was thinking of a list something like this:

23 Mana:
4 Underground Sea
3 Island
3 Polluted Delta
2 Tundra
2 Flooded Strand
1 Tolarian Academy
1 Library of Alexandria
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Ruby
1 Sol Ring

6 Combo Pieces:
2 Tezzeret
1 Voltaic Key
1 Time Vault
1 Auriok Salvagers
1 Aether Spellbomb

6 Tutor:
4 Trinket Mage
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Tutor

13 Control:
4 Force of Will
3 Daze/Negate
3 Aven Mindslicer/Jotun Grunt
2 Misdirection
1 Tormod's Crypt

12 Draw:
4 Dark Confidant
3 Ninja of the Deep Hour
2 Sensei's Divining Top
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Brainstorm
1 Ponder

Again, this is just an idea.  It's more or less a combo Fish deck.  Thoughts?

UPDATE: Here is a new list that I just came up with:
22 Mana:
    1  Black Lotus
    1  Mox Jet
    1  Mox Pearl
    1  Mox Sapphire
    1  Island
    1  Volcanic Island
    1  Academy Ruins
    1  Strip Mine
    2  Wasteland
    2  Flooded Strand
    3  Polluted Delta
    3  Tundra
    4  Underground Sea

15 Creatures:
    4  Dark Confidant
    3  Cursecatcher
    3  Trinket Mage
    3  Meddling Mage
    2  Jotun Grunt

23 Other:
    4  Force of Will
    4  Duress
    3  Scarscale Ritual
    1 Brainstorm
    1 Ancestral Recall
    1 Vampiric Tutor
    1 Demonic Tutor
    1 Time Vault
    1 Voltaic Key
    1 Time Walk
    1 Skullclamp
    1 Tormod's Crypt
    1 Engineered Explosives
    1 Sensei's Divining Top
    1 Aether Vial

Sideboard:
3 Swords to Plowshare
3 Hide/Seek
2 Kataki, Wars Wage
2 Ethersworn Canonist
2 Aether Vial
1 Aether Spellbomb
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Engineered Explosives

Why did you keep the Salvagers combo?  Why not cut it completely?

Why is going off with Tezzeret better than going off with Salvagers?  It's not a creature, which is extremely relevant in the Fish and Goblins matchups.

I actually decided to board the Tezzeret.  The deck has not lost a single match so far and so far has beaten Ad Nauseum Tendrils, Stax, Fish, Tezzeret Control, and like 5-6 jank.decs.  Without further adue, this is the deck I've been working on:

John the Fisherman:

// NAME: fish

// Lands
    1 [SOA] Island
    1  Strip Mine
    1  Volcanic Island
    3  Flooded Strand
    3  Polluted Delta
    3  Tundra
    3  Underground Sea
    3  Wasteland

// Creatures
    4  Dark Confidant
    3  Jotun Grunt
    3  Meddling Mage
    3  Trinket Mage
    1  Auriok Salvagers

// Spells
    1  Black Lotus
    1  Mox Jet
    1  Mox Pearl
    1  Mox Sapphire
    1  Tormod's Crypt
    1  AEther Spellbomb
    1  Sensei's Divining Top
    1  Voltaic Key
    1  Vampiric Tutor
    3  Duress
    1  Ancestral Recall
    1  Brainstorm
    1  Ponder
    1  Demonic Tutor
    1  Time Walk
    1  Time Vault
    3  Hide/Seek
    4  Force of Will
    1  Gush
    1  Skullclamp
    1  Engineered Explosives

// Sideboard
SB: 1  Engineered Explosives
SB: 1  Pithing Needle
SB: 2 [SOA] Tezzeret the Seeker
SB: 2  Kataki, War's Wage
SB: 3  Swords to Plowshares
SB: 3 [SOA] Ethersworn Canonist
SB: 3  Umezawa's Jitte

I need to chime in here, because honestly, the list needs a lot of work.  You beat AN because I demonic Consultation'ed and removed all my tendrils of agony, and then Game 2 I didn't feel like arguing with you about the Jotun Grunt (you were wrong, in case you were still wondering).

So you're hoping that force of will  and 3 duress + artifacts will be enough to beat Ad Naseum, TPS or the Tezzeret Mirror?   That plan seems very flawed from a strategic standpoint. You will NEED* to have 4 duress.  I almost would suggest cutting Jotun Grunts for Negates.  Grunts seem difficult to really keep in play via their cumulative.

Hide and Seek is a card I have never really been a fan of.  It never actually does nearly as much as you want it to.  I'd rather these spots became cards like Thirst for Knowledge or Deep Analysis.  If your Dark Confidant dies, you have no real way to sufficiently draw cards.

1  Gush seems extremely greedy in a deck full of dudes, as does ponder.  Is it really worth casting gush to find a creature and a land, and setting yourself back turns?

I have actually made several changes.  I am running 4 Duress now, I dropped a Grunt.  Gush and Ponder are about to get cut, and I'm thinking of replacing them with Sage of Epityr, who still has tiny muscles, can chump or be thrown to Clamp.  I'm thinking I should cut a Wasteland for another fetch.  Salvagers is about to get the hack, but I'm not sure what should be in it's place.  I'm thinking Ninja of the Deep Hour may be a useful card in this deck, but I'm not sure.  As for the AN Match up, you didn't count Meddling Mage, Hide/Seek (taking out just a single Tendrils does wonders against AN), or the sided Canonists.  I've been mulling it over and I think the Cannonists may actually deserve a main slot over Hide/Seek, though I would like to keep the Hide/Seek because there are enough decks with only 2-3 win conditions in their whole deck to make the card viable and Hide's ability has saved me two games I would have likely lost otherwise.  Tezzeret doesn't belong in the side either.  It will probably become 1-2 Chalice.  About Grunts, they may not stay in play long, but they are brutal with a Clamp attached.  I'm tempted to put in 2-3 Clamps main, since they make a great secondary draw engine, especially if I start running Sage.  Without Salvagers, I'm thinking the Spellbomb should be a second Clamp (It turns Trinket into a 3/1 who gives you cards when he bites the dust, makes Sage much more vialbe (I will test them and see how it goes), and allows me to draw from Confidant even at low life).  The deck still needs work, which is why I posted it in this Forum.

By the way, 5-6 matches is pretty statistically insignificant, especially on MWS and when the deck keeps changing rapidly.  Also, please rename the thread subject if this is now Tez Fish.

So... why this shell instead of a Mana Drain shell?  5 mana sorceries with only 22 mana sources is quite sketchy, especially when 4 of them are Strip Mine + Wastelands, especially when you have Gush as well.  Also, why no Cursecatcher or Stifle; cards that traditionally make Fish good.

Because I did not know about Cursecatcher.  I take back what I said about Sage, Cursecatcher is likely a much better choice.  As for Tezzeret, he's been dropped, completely, and so has Salvagers, so I will be renaming the thread as soon as I'm done with this post.  Gush has been dropped as well as another Wasteland.  So, which would be a better card for the deck, Cursecatcher or Stifle?  Cursecatcher would be a nice choice, since he controls and can still be pitched to Clamp, but would I need a Vial maindecked if I were to play him, and should one be in here actually?  Stifle is actually one of my favorite control cards ever printed, and it would allow the use of a Dreadnaught.  All in all, I'm still just speculating since my laptop is down and I can't do any playtesting (besides my roommates, but we rarely ever see each other these days).

I'm well aware this is a double post, however, I've updated the list.
