4 Null Rod
4 Swords to Plowshares
3 Pithing Needle
4 Ethersworn Canonist
4 True Believer
2 Aven Mind Censor
4 Tarmogoyf
3 Gaddock Teeg
4 Mother of Runes
2 Preacher
2 Children of Korlis

1 Mox Pearl
1 Lotus Petal
1 Black Lotus
4 Waste lands
1 Strip Mine
4 Windswept Heath
6 Plains
4 Savannah
2 Forest

SB
3 Wheel of Sun and Moon
3 Ray of Revelation
4 Auritok Champion
3 Oxidize
2 Krosan Grip

There really isnt any explosive turn one play so Im considering dropping the lotus.  The goal with construction was to target combo-decks significantly while maintaining enough Fast beats to contend with control.

Typical Mana-denial package with wastes/strip/null rod/Aven.  If theres a better use for the slots given to the Kami's and Unicorns, please tell me your thoughts.

Edit: After thinking about it, I think that Mono White Parfait is just stronger.

I strongly considered it.  I really like Aura of Silence.  What tipped it for me was I consider Null Rod a strong play.  Also, Im not convinced of the robustness of the Land Tax - Scroll Rack combo in the Vintage environment.  I need to work Aura of Silence into this deck.

You already have 3 Grunts and 5 Strip Effects as decent maindeck material for Ichorid. Even Javalineers and Swords are good against Ichorid. Samaurai is more solid Ichorid hate (that might move to main) and with Pithing already in the Board, Tormod's seems like overkill.

And True Believer is probably good enough to play all 4. Near every deck has at least one of these relevant cards; Tendrils, Hurkyl's Recall, Intuition, Gifts, Belcher, Duress, Thoughtseize, Mind Twist, Mindslaver...

I'd play Samaurai main over a couple of the Unicorns. They at least can trade with big Wild Nacatls, and Juggernauts; and take out Ophidians.

Flagstones of Troikar should replace at least 2-3 of the Plains with near no disadvantage (save Blood Moon) and only advantages per Stax, thinning...

Plus I'd definitely play Preacher somewhere in mono-white.

Orim's Chant is more great combo hate from the Board.

I also don't love the 6 Cats and Dogs, 2 power beaters for W is just 6 cards that don't disrupt and don't have a big enough clock. Those usually fall in that gray area where they don't really matter. But poor against Oath, not fast enough for combo, and not big enough for Tarmogoyfs. However they are nice against Stax and some Slaver lists.

And although Kataki doesn't play nice with Canonist, Kataki is still a house against Stax and Mud.

White got more good walking disruption with Canonist, but probably not enough to go mono-white yet.

If you splash Blue add Ninja of the Deep Hours, Meddling Mage, Time Walk, Ancestral...

Kataki + Null Rod was extremely good in the U/W fish decks of the past.  This also applies heavily now, as every powered deck relies on 9-10 pieces of artifact acceleration, plus painters, time vaults, grindstones, voltaic keys, courier's capsules and what have you.

As a side bonus, if you actually face the parfait match, you completely bone their draw engine and give half of their threats an upkeep cost.

I'm the only other legal target, so I draw 6 cards, and he literally quits Magic.

Would Wheel of Sun and Moon be a decent consideration for the sideboard?

It's an enchantment, which could be a detriment in the Ichorid match,
but it does completely pwn them if unanswered,
whereas Samurai does not, since it doesn't stop their dredging...etc.

It stops Grindstone, too, without being open to artifact removal, like Needle is,
which may be important since you also play Null Rod.
If you got both Wheel and Null Rod out, the opponent couldn't just play Hurkyl's Recall and ignore it.

Unless your metagame consistently has a presence of Oath,
I'd suggest moving some of the Kamis or Ponies to the sideboard for either Samurai or Kataki,
depending on whether you're more worried about Welder, Ichorid, and Aggro,
or artifact heavy blue decks like Painter and Stax.

Are the maindeck Javelineers worth the slot?
If your opponent has Bob, I'd think it'd probably be Fish, in which case you'd stomp them anyway,
and if Welders are a problem, I'd think Pithing Needle'd be better maindeck anyway, since it's not as situational.
Perhaps that slot could be used to fix potential problem matchups?

Good luck. I hope that some of this helped.

Go Go White Weenie!
